@babkrani Salty and Fresh water do mix you cretin -.- A river flows into the see via a delta (usually) and it is there that the waters mix. When the water evaporates, it leaves the salt and minerals behind to become a cloud. That cloud then condenses and falls as rain, draining away into a river which -Hey!- runs into the sea. It's the water cycle, learn it. If they did not mix, the water cycle wouldn't work.

When the water evaporates, it leaves the salt and minerals behind to become a cloud. That cloud then condenses and falls as rain, draining away into a river which -Hey!- runs into the sea. It's the water cycle, learn it. If they did not mix, the water cycle wouldn't work.

Evolution was first discovered by Muslim scientists in the medieval era. AlJahiz described natural selection in his book "The Book of Animals". Ibn Khaldun described evolution from minerals to humans in his book "AlMuqaddimah". These scientists were religious and never saw any conflict between evolution and Islam.

Evolution is an undeniable fact. There are tons of evidence supporting it. Go look at the evidence.

God didn't mention the BILLIONS of galaxies, but he mentions 'lights' on the 'lowest heaven' + SEVEN earths. The Quran mentions the heavens and the earth being TORN APART, but the earth wasn't THERE at the Big Bang, this is false. Its nonsense to think God would start his religion from one man. You've never looked for errors, how do YOU know the Quran is from God?

Rather, it is referring to the separation of salt and freshwater bodies on Earth. Context people, CONTEXT! any language major would tell you that the context defines the nature and meaning of the language content. it's easy for anything to sound ridiculous if you remove it from its context! duh!

But when the water from one sea enters the other sea, it loses its distinctive characteristic and becomes homogenized with the other water. In a way this barrier serves as a transitional homogenizing area for the two waters.

WRONG! Richard, The direct translation of the verse your referring to is:
"He (God) has let free the two bodies of water meeting together; between them is a barrier that they do not transgress"
This is referring to the scientific phenomena of "pycnocline zone" between bodies of water in oceans that have different salinities, yet they do not mix....

He's a scientist, and any scientist who takes science seriously, does not resort to "miracles" as explanations for things people can't explain otherwise. Many claims have been made by Muslims about scientific verses, many of them appear to have predated Islam, so it's reasonable to assume the same for the other so called "miracles", there is also the fact that many verses are written vaguely hence open to many interpretations also.

The Torah, or old testament, is quite backwards, but you have to take into account that the Jews are a smart people, and most of the ones I know don't believe in God or any of those things. So criticizing their religious rules and beliefs is superfluous because they'd probably agree with you and laugh at the whole thing.

The majority of Jews do not regard them as indisputable fact, and so they have little influence on the educational system.
