  • just watched the movie, its amazing!

  • I love the book, i think it is really inspiriring

  • @puckb96 i think so too :) and someone who had read this book has to know how clever a horse is... !!!

  • it's not healing,it is spiritual(shamans), yes, but not healing. devol lies. after this 'healing" boy will have more spiritual problems. feel sorry for him....only God may truly heals.

  • Healing autism...

  • This is the most gripping book I have ever read.

  • I get up at 5.00 a.m. every saturday morning to do equine therapy with authistic children and i wouldn't give it up for the world

  • The official european edition DVD is now available on Amazon UK . Great Film.

  • i have a twin brother whom is autistic we are 17 yrs old , he has temper tantrums everyday, when something routine goes out of sync, he goes off. My grandmother read the Horse boy, and told me to read it, i read it, and i see how Jesse (my brother) , and Rowan relate to one another. i love this book, and id recommend anyone to read this book,. the movie looks like a very good movie, id watch it.

  • Is this a real story? i can't see if its real or not by just watching the movie

  • @thesourceofpunk

    Yes, it's real ;)

  • I have just finished reading this book, and I think this story is one that needs to be seen world wide. What a trully amazing story of a families love. My children are not autistic, but I can relate on so many levels. Bravo for being their for your child, as so many parents are not, today it so easy to pass off your difficulties onto someone else. A lesson learned. Think outside the box!!

  • fantastic movie seen it already at "bigmovies4free", anybody else seen it? it's got an awesome cast of actors

  • at 3:13 .the "craft"is at work...

  • really loved the book!

I think the book is better then the movie, because it explains a lot more. But if you liked this maybe you have to read books from Linda Kohanov. I think you all will be surprised how far a relationship with horses can go!

  • Just watched the movie. Amazing, but i found the movie lacking credit to the shamans and the way they portray the country that probably saved their son was disappointing.

  • @munguntulga ,exactly it is in my opinion the Shamans who brought the real change.

if not,why didnt the horses in America brought that change?it was the shaman who made the difference.make no mistake about that people

  • Hey, does anyone out there know where i can buy a UK format (region 2) dvd of this film?? been looking everywhere... =(

    thanks if you do!!

  • It is a shame that how western medical experts diagnose people as mental disordered and tell there is no such a treatment without knowing spiritual world and spiritual treatment

  • Respect to the Shaman who cured Rupert's kid.

  • I loved the book... i almost cry in the end...

  • Just watched this at fullmoviesonline . tk

  • I'm sorry but I'd just like to ask if anyone knew the song playing in the trailer for the horse boy? And I just watched the trailer, andit was the most moving 2:25 minutes of my life.^^

  • you better be sorry

  • Ok I m really sorry

  • doctors name

    simon baron cohen!!!

    so close to sasha

    but this movies looks interesting

  • I see people really love the book. But why don't you guys never mention the favor of mongolian healer shamans who cured the boy? I think you guys may not believe the story. But really, for shaman healers in Mongolia, there is no limit of healing power. And they do not only heal, they do everything for exaple, calling the "luck" etc.

  • i just finished reading the book...i thought it was fantastic. has it been made into a film available for the public? thanks

  • i am a volunteer with the riding for the disabled association in australia and on more than one occasion i have seen horses change a child's life. so i am fully supportive of everything that Rupert has done with his son Rowan. Taking him to Mongolia and visiting the shamans and going on the horse riding trek was such a good idea and it is living proof that horse can help to heal everybody in some way not just horses but all animals. So please keep up the good work Rupert and Kirsten. Love Jas

  • I've had the distinct pleasure of growing up with a horse and I can there is no other animal that is more loyal, caring, and thoughtful then a horse. Its truly something one has to experience.

  • I wish this family every success.

I also wish people would stop vaccinating their children with poison vaccines, simply because the gubmint tells them they must.

Vaccines cause autism? Do the research, think for yourselves.

  • And what do you want to say to me. I wasn't vaccinated, and I am autistic.

  • sillymummy - I am sorry to hear that.

I stand by my original posting: "Do the research, think for yourselves."

  • Don't be sorry. I'm autistic, not defective.

  • I've seen the movie and read the book - both are beautiful.

Speaking of which, what is that song playing in the background? So appropriate and haunting

  • The Cinematic Orchestra - That Home

  • I have read the book and after seeing this video I can't stop crying.

My son is also diagnosted with PDD-NOS. Although his problems aren't as bad as Rowan had. To me my wonderful, beautiful and most of all loving child is so open, always has been. But in Rowan I can see the struggle my child must feel on the inside, in the world outside our home, were he has not that connection that he has with me.

My chosen name is Snowhawk.... do I need to say more?

  • Thank you so much for reading the book and posting. I will share your message with Rupert.

  • Thank you so much for your willingness to share your journey. As both a mother and a life long horse lover I am deeply moved by what you have embarked on. I believe horses are healers, I believe they have partnered with us on some level so that we can learn from them. Thank you for touching my heart.

  • Thank you for your kind words and post, I will share them with Rupert Isaacson.

  • wow this is so amazing! anybody that has ever been around a horse knows their incredible healing power... truly magical. i recently had cancer and dont know where id be without my lovely mare, she is my savior.
