I prefer the u/w scene without the music. That's how I knew for many years when the movie was shown on TV during the 80's and 90's. All you've got is the sound effects. When I heard the version on the DVD, with the music, I felt it spoiled the scene a bit.
I remember seeing this on TV about a year ago with James Bond Theme playing over the end credits

John Barry's scores for all the bonds is unbeatable by todays composers. He's simply the best.
