The student center planning has been horrible. They should've just kept Brady Commons and used the New Student Center building as an actual ADDITION or expansion, not replacement. 2 buildings are better than one. Use Brady for stuff like Brady food court and then house student orgs. in the OTHER building! Hello? It's not that fucking difficult to understand.
The students voted to increase student fees, if this video is right, for actual RENOVATIONS AND EXPANSION of Brady, not a fucking new building! I can just imagine how many students now would've voted no had they known the truth. You guys lied to the students, didn't you? Not to mention the outside appearance of teh student center really isn't much of an improvement over Brady, if you ask me. Brady Food Court's gone. TA Brady's and the subway. The Mizzou Market wasn't even transferred. bs
God I miss Brady. I wonder if they're even gonna name the Student Center, or if they're just gonna keep caling it "new student center." I can't believe one of the "reasons" on the student center website was that "anotehr thing to hold over KU's head." Who cares! I don't give a shit about this silly KU-MU rivalry. The only reason it exists is because of petty sports fans.
Thank God I started Mizzou when in just one year expansion will be done! I mean, why the hell should student orgs. have to use places like classrooms in Middlebush, MIDDLEBUSH to meet (one of the farther areas on campus), for christ sakes?
Boy was I disappointed! I actually miss Brady Commons, esp. since it's supposed to take TWO years just to get the fucking expansions on the 3rd floor as part of Phase II to be done. WTF? 2 years?? Did MU hire a crappy construction contractor because of the recession or wut? 2 years just to do some inside renovations and make additional facilities like giving us back the mizzou market that was taken away after they close down brady? What a gip.
