i felt it and i live in high wycombe woke us all up and were all heavy sleepers, then the next day we saw all the smoke come over us, it was amazing but scary at the same time. just greatfull there were no deaths but apprently a stupid acident
I lived in Hemel! I just lived about 2 miles away from Buncefield and when I felt it, the explosion was like an earthquake and I nearly fell out of bed!
I don't know how far this is to Mill Hill, North West London but I remember my building shook.
I didn't think much of it because I live alongside a tube line & the building always shakes when I train leaves the station.
I found out later what had happened when I got to work in Morden, which the complete other side of London, technically Surrey & my boss told me he felt it there!
@polish1985 Does it really matter? I just wrote a few words, just because you would not use them words your self does not mean you are perfect. So dont be so picky that you dont like how i speak!
I was there in the industrial state. I saw the whole explosion from the beggining. I was looking for sainsburys address to make a delivery. The explosion was precisely 05:56!!! the first explosion was 05:56 and not 06:03 as the bbc says. I could be dead. I took 2 months holiday in Brazil after that.

i am a cab driver and was about half a mile away when it kicked off. i convinced my passenger to check it out close up. a bit too close for him so had to leg it
This video would be nothing without the "wow, fuck me" it's an instant classic, Nice One! (I'm a heavy speeper but the explosion woke me up from about 30 miles away!)
i really am sorry that your boyfriend has left you but if you had taken up cycling some time ago then maybe the exercise would have reduced the size (if i remember correctly) of your more than ample bottom What with your exceedingly large bum and those vile farting episodes, you really cant blame your ex for dumping you
It was so scary but the guy speaking used some unpleasant language which I found very upsetting and i have been unable to sleep properly since listening to it. I also have nightmares of the close-up of his face. He looks a bit like my local taxi driver. I now use a different company but I still get the nightmares.....
I was woke by the bang in Luton, I woke and heard and second huge very deep boom of an explosion then rumbling afterwards I though London had been nuked at first all the nieghbours were looking out their windows wondering what the hell. Good documentary well made.
I had a cross counrty championship race that day! and i couldnt make it there!! GRRRR, didnt wake me up and i was in hemel, my dad was responsible for getting people on and off the site, and the phone call he got at about 6 in the morning was what woke me up...
Pause at 00:41. I think we finally have a prime suspect in this explosion. This incident was what put me and many others out of work on that industrial estate.
Ifelt it in Milton Keynes

Where's the security camera footage they showed at the time
That's what I want to see
You see a shockwave just obliterate a car and the side of a building
Nobody on YouTube seems to have it yet...
