From a time when parent's cared what their kids watched, it was the 70's, degraded as years went on, now people can't remember when kids didn't behave so badly and didn't require medication to control them!
Sex? I can't remember the last time I saw a movie where there was any sex at all, or even anything questionable or even provocative. Besides, what's wrong with sex?
Surely it's better to see two people make love then it is to see someone get their head blown in by a gun.
No wait, this is America I'm talking about. A nation so backwards that they got slaves to fight against a country that had just abolished slavery in a "Revolutionary" war.
@EziekielNightwind How come I guessed you were from Canada? A nation that derives its national pride from badmouthing (trolling?) the country under it. Get your facts straight: the American Revolution ended in 1783; slaves weren't abolished in Britain until 1834, almost a century later.
bulldog1447 thanks for uploading a very very good tune! As always thanks You Tube and God Bless All of the Statler Brothers over the years, no matter who you Boys were you could harmonize and vocalize, Country ROCK ON SHINDIGGERS!
what happened was, the Screenwriters guild was purged of progressive communists who were trying to make all Hollywood films about brotherhood and right vs wrong and the little guy vs The Man/Rich vs Poor - why don't all these fans who claim they love America admit these movies have strong socialist messages? I enjoy them (and Randolph Scott) but I can't help but notice this.
@jumpygrouch the is nothing communistic about brotherhood, rooting for a underdog, or good defeating bad. What we have to worry about is like they said, a immense amount of sex on the screen unfit for children. And anti-American movies.
@jumpygrouch Because socialism is antethetical to freedom. We're getting a tiny taste of this, now and America is waking up. Thank God that November is coming.
@guilhermefreire48 Aw, let him shoot off his dumb mouth. The more his kind speak up, the stupider they look. And The Good Lord knows that we THINKING Americans can use a good laugh, in these (soon to be ended) dark days. C'MON, Inauguration Day, 2013!
@jumpygrouch What are you talking about. Hollywood celebrities might be somewhat liberal, but hollywood itself is run by corporations. Corporations which are intensely in favor of maximizing their profits and thus only put out products in which socialists and communists are treated as the enemy.
I grew up listening to this type of music, and I still love it.

Yeah, I'm with this guy. Despite everyone and their brother having a "blog" (whatever the hell that is) nobody cares what you think. Cool song.

@theshadow1932 What are you talking about? America is so far to the right as it is that you accuse the center of being communist.
You don't even know WHAT socialism is any more.
