Yeah but nVidia is fixing this problem. Look at there GTX 260 series graph card. Its the exact IDENTICAL same thing as the GTX280 but is runs 10% slower than the 280 and is 40% cheaper. They achieve this by disabling one of the cores in the chipset well worth the money and investment.

And your right nVidia was designed for games that is why you find MOST gamers run them. ATI isn't and has never nor will never touch my pc.

Antec skeleton case, it says in the video description. And I do not recommend one, i hear it has dust problems, and has way too many open spaces. All it takes is one asshole with a loose set of keys, or a asshole brother playing with a wire, and BOOM! there goes your motherboard. I´ll never understand people buying the Antec Skeleton. You´re going to be spending as much time air dusting it as you are going to be playing your games. Its more a conversion piece when you have company. Cooler Master ATCS 840 is the best case out there right now IMO. Pure function over form.

I know the phenoms are a 1/3 of the price but in most benchmarks, especially gaming, they are less than 1/2 the power of a core i7. To me having double the thinking power is more than worth the price of admission. But, like I said, thats me. Not to mention proper DDR3 support, better overclocking, and room for a dual video card setup to breath. To me the phenom II's are cut rate budget chips, suitable for those who only use their PC's for email and surfing. I hope AMD makes something good soon.

i suggest you get the second option since dual graphic card will increase your frame per second much more than a i7 would. And i don't think ddr3 memory is really necessairy...
