@jawhovian they didnt ditch it, it only gets used various occasions. Its all still in storage. Its like all the other parades, theres over 50 variation of parades and each gets used at various times throughout the year to keep the parade fresh and new to the tourists :)

This was everything to me when I was little. The Light Parade was basically the most exciting thing that had ever happened to me at that time.

This tune was used for a children's show in Sweden (with old Disney shorts) which my dad had taped. I watched those tapes over and over again for several years, from the age of two or three.

When I was about nine or ten years old we finally went to Disneyland in Paris and I remember feeling dissapointed that I was too short to get onto Space Mountain. Then this parade started and so did this amazing music, and I'm pretty sure that was the first time ever I felt nostalgic.

i'm pretty sure that it was me that worked that night in the Dopey costume:) You can tell by the body language and i have watched myself many times on camera to see what i could do better for the character :) That was the favorite of mine ev er since i was little and when i watched the parade when i was little my Dad tells me now that i pointed to Dopey and said that i wanted to do that!!! My Dad says that Dopey was my favie all my life hehe and i guess i can cross of one in my dream book :)

i just recently found a cassette tape that my dad had made for my sister when she was little that was full of disney songs and this was 1 of them!! i played the tape so much that something happened and it wouldn't play all the way to the end without some of the tape stuff coming out and i freaked! but i fixed it so it's all good :P

I loved watching this parade as a child then as I got older I used the Parade time to go on the rides like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean a second or third time later in the night. Since the lines were shorted do to most familes taking their kids to see the parade.

This is my absolute favorite Disney parade! This and the Parade of Dreams. I grew up seeing this every time my family went to Disneyland and I just love it so much. I saw it in Disneyland, then in California Adventure. Totally bummed its all the way in Florida now, but I got to see it for my birthday! My favorite part is Peter Pan =P I actually got him to wave at me once! It made my entire night! I couldn't stop talking about it and I was 18 at the time! lol
