brigandine would make a terrible sequel. I mean, there only 1 kingdom left and the vilain is dead. It doesnt need a sequel, but it DOES need a remake with the current technology! Brigandine was awesome and is my favorite game of all time!
You do realize, peace is but a fleeting memory. There will always be someone to take that persons place. Besides In the original Iscalio and West Almekia were the only two who were able to initiate the fight against Bulnoil. I'm not sure if Esgares could or not, never really used them, I felt too cheap.
yeah but since anyone can win the game we couldnt actually get a base for a sequel. And no, its just that you can initiate a fight against bulnoil. The ''fight'' is only a ''cutscene'' but the cutscenes in brigandine original are only text. Grand Edition is the first tiem you can actually fight Bulnoil.
No, you can actually fight him in the original as well. However it's a pain just to initiate the fight. You need to do certain things. I've only done it with Iscalio; a friend of mine said it's easier with West Almekia. It needs to be on hard and certain conditions must be met. Grand Edition was garbage anyway, no fight scenes, crappy music. Who cares about animated cutscenes. You just need to leave Esgares for last and make sure Cador abandons Zemekis. Bulnoil will appear with Cador.
Ok I admit the music sucked, but i usually turn off the battle animations on cause they made the battle like 10x longer. I also liked the voice acting and I found the multiplayer mode to be really great! I've got friends who love brigandine so we sometime play togheter in the multiplayer. I also liked that instead of having 2 pair of element opposing each others, they had 1 pair opposing each other (white & black) and an element triangle (red > green > blue > red)
Lol, sorry. I was unaware of the multiplayer. The element oppositions sound good though. Anywho yeah Bulnoil is probably even harder in GE because of newer monsters and such. Does he still get the extended spell ranges?
he doesnt have higher range of spell but hes seriously badass. before you can even scratch him, you need to destroy his barrier which has a lot of hp(i dont know the exact number but i heard its about 1000 hp) then you can damage him. He also have a large number of spell: Venom, METEOR DOOM, Curse, Dimension, Weakness, Necro-Rebirth, Exa Blast, Solid, Fall Berg, Charm, Thunder, Geno Thunder
hes also teaming with 2 lvl 30 knight and most of his monsters require you to kill them twice.

Nice art, Dryst was my favortie ruler. Long live Tyrant Dryst! Long live Iscalio! Heres a game that needs a sequel, nostalgia trip all over.

Yeah sounds pretty hard compared to the original. Though I remember his spells being able to extend slightly further.
