I have to say Virginia's menu seems more crative than Heather's and her restaurant seems very well decorated, better then Heathe's screens and grafitti. However I'd rather have Heather running a restaurant and Virginia doing recipe books and shows. Heather is a much better chef.

Heather's TV screens and graffiti smack of egotism. Virginia wins the coordination prize for the decor. Both menus seem tasty. Shame there wasn't an option to choose none of the losers...Virginia's motivational speech needs some work. I feel most sorry for GR's sous chefs, having to wet nurse these "contestants". I think after season 1, the producers really got a better idea of how to "dramatically" present HK (US version anyway). Season 1 was raw, whereas subsequent seasons had more spice, more dramatic music cues, more in-house drama, more still shots of contestants with evil/calculating smirks on their faces, etc.

I watched season 3 first. When I got through it, I was skeptical about this show being legit. There were several times throughout season 3 that I thought it was all staged. Now ,I'm finishing season 2 and I'm sure it's all staged. I know reality shows are directed and not really "real." But this is too obviously directed. Everything ends in a tie, Heather and Virginia hate each other but in the final 2, they're hugging and all happy, plus many other examples of fake bullshit.
