    That was great!!

  • 1st-I really hate to youtube criticize, so dont think I am, this is just one drummer to another real talk. 2nd- open up your hats when doing these kind of beats.

(experience from playing with my band down here in texas) (nice set btw though)

  • Is that a Ludwig acrolite snare?

  • @mythkid1208 Nope, its a spacer snare, it has no shell. You can read about it on my blog!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic Oops, my mistake, it looked like an acrolite from a distance

  • pretty damn good blasting bro! i know i can't do it as well as you

  • @simonkiller123 I've bought all of my drum equipment with money I made teaching drums ;)

  • That fill at the end inspired me to go downstairs and play my drums, and I ended up making huge progress with blast beating. Thank You man!

  • @XruinsskashowsX Thats awesome man! I'm glad to hear it :D

  • stop acting like you suck, its annoying

  • @TruthTheSpeaker well if he acted like he was good people would complain he was cockey..

  • @TruthTheSpeaker I do suck, considering I've been playing my whole life :P

  • @LukeSnyderMusic Man, iv been playing for 8 years, busting my ass and im not even on the same level as you! You definitely DO NOT suck.

  • @WeveGotNoTimeToLose its unprofessional to spell unprofessional wrong HA!

  • Love you Luke!

  • luke snyder blasting, with a DOUBLE BASS PEDAL?!?! :P was just thinking bout this earlier actually, my pedal work is the weakest aspect of my playing atm, i've gotten used to having really light settings on my pedals- which is how i've always played- and recently i've gotten a bit lazy, because i now have a double bass pedal and i can get the same results with half the effort per foot.. i dont want bad habits like that- its why i didnt use a double bass pedal for years.. what are your thoughts?

  • @GerardBlaize Thats why if I can play it with one foot, I always do. Anything with 8th notes or isolated doubles stays on one foot, not two! But you can't play 16ths up to speed with one foot ;)

  • @LukeSnyderMusic lol silly americans, we use quavers and semiquavers... what kinda setting do you use? i'm using really light settings on my pedals atm, i feel like i should try adding more tension to the springs, because atm i can hit the bass drum without the beater really connecting, if you know what i mean. thanks for the reply btw

  • @GerardBlaize Haha, silly Britishers, a quaver is tremble in your voice ;) But anyways, I change my settings all the time, to trick my feet, haha. I haven't really ever settled on one thing. I generally like a really light feel though, I'm eventually gonna get some Axis longboards. Putting the spring tension higher will give you a much better workout, I would go for it!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic ha- i'm irish :P yeah, i'll try putting it higher, then change it up a bit maybe.. cheers ^^ good video btw

  • @GerardBlaize Oh well, silly Europeans, in that case, haha! But yeah, I would definitely give it a shot. You can also try increasing the beater distance from the head. It will feel like you're trying to move blocks of steel at first, but wait until you feel how light they are if you switch back later!

  • You're such an effing douche bag. no offence

  • @Findrums Haha, none taken.

  • haha. :D cool!

  • Well hey, you must be doing something right with your style of playing because to me it seemed like I could put a metronome over your playing and not notice much tempo change. As long as it seems like you're playing tight, right?

Actually, to me that sounds like a get-out-of-jail free card for not practicing till you get exactly tight.

  • @SomersVincent Well, my tempo doesn't stray to much, but the part thats not tight is the unisons between my right hand and my feet. I can hear my feet struggling a bit :P Oh well, I'll get my feet back up to speed eventually, haha.

  • Good stuff man. You doing some drum n' bass-esque stuff too? I feel like your snare is predestined for that kind of thing.

  • @dubbe186 I plan on hitting up some DnB stuff :D I love playing that style, and you're right, this snare is PERFECT for it.

  • @LukeSnyderMusic can't wait, good stuff

  • good stuff man

you should do a vid where you are drummng with only your hi hats.

see how creative you can be with just your hi hats?

id make a video...but im not so good hahaha

  • @UrielYube I thought I replied to this before, but yeah! That is an awesome idea, I'll have to do that in the near future! Thanks for the idea!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic thank you for being creative and awesome at drums and stuff!

  • @UrielYube Hey, its my passion! Thanks for watching, I'll see you around ;)

  • dude. fucking LOVE your vids. keep em coming

  • @JobForMyValentine Haha, I try to be entertaining :D

  • Seriously.. That was well done man! =D

  • @Malteboy777 Haha, thanks!

  • oh come on your not that bad you should see me do it lol

  • That was cool. Peace,,,,

  • @Jerry2665 Thanks Jerry! Peace!

  • awesome!! Super!

  • @arconda666 Thank you so much for stopping by Arconda, that means a huge deal coming from you. I've always been very impressed by your speed, its absolutely stunning!

  • hmm, well i buy you a booz, it'll make you play more relaxed.. hehe

    good gravity on your blasts.

ah i haven't jammed since a time so i'm out of drumming stamina.

    cheers man!!

  • @TheHopelessDrummer Well then get back on there and start jamming! ;)

  • Also, when you linked my name in the description it linked the closed parenthesis with it. Mind you put a space between the link and the close parenthesis so it links properly?

  • Low-well. And you got my username right the first time.

Nice video mang. Yer gravities aren't as bad as you make them out to be. Trust me, I've seen worse gravity blasting.

  • @Subrick Haha, yeah, I guess. My feet are killing me these days, I can't play anything cleanly. I just got a double pedal again after a 6 month hiatus, and I've lost lots of ground. Oh well! Plus, I have patellar tendonitis in my left knee... its kinda painful to play, lol!

  • @LukeSnyderMusic

What happened to yer other double pedal? It break and you couldn't afford a new one?

  • @Subrick Nah, I never had one. I borrowed for that other video, lol. And I fixed the link, my bad!

  • brutal !!!

  • @lamuertenvida Yeah!

  • Pretty awesome dude. You're getting better everyday, It's really impressing. And it's really cool to see/hear you play

  • @TheMetalOracle Thanks man! Its just practicing, I spend a lot of time, and work hard! I appreciate your kind words :D
