If you dont know what way is up the easiest way to find it is to pull on your leggy, since your board floats, and your leg rope is connected to it, it will always lead you up.
id like to hear from more experienced guys about what to do when you are just getting pounded under, over and over, and how the hell to get out of that area when you cant even see which way it up... was some really scary stuff my first time out and had not a very good teacher/friend with me
scared of sharks? i like when stingrays go under my board!
the chances are really small, if there maybe is a shark the lisavers will make a signal and stay where all the surfers are so the chance of a shark getting you are so small, unlees if you live in australia, then your dead
it would be greate to talk a litle more about animals, such as sharks. Many people dont surfs due to fear. What is the chance of a shark's attack? What to do in that case?
i didnt know about the wave rips when i first learned how to suf and i got sucked out lmao i was like wtf... but then i got out of it and now im good and i love surfing
Excellent.I was a proffessional surf coach for 10 years working in Australia and overseas specialising in Learn to Surf.If only this kind of resource was available then. I used to teach my students this type of thing all the time.Nice to see a proffesional approach to it,with so many bozos getting involved with Teaching Beginners these days.
You can ride a rip to get to your surfing spot quickly. No need to paddle.
