not the right person to ask Kazakh phrases. He clearly does not understand you. By the way, Kazakhstan's official language is Kazakh and most people speak Kazakh. There are, however, some Russian people who speak their language in Kazakhstan. Do not dramatize misconceptions about Kazakhs.

I have to say,the kazakh in kazakhstan face a lot of problems,the problem of language is one of the common ones,I think.However,this is a young country,we can do it better after several years.I am a kazakh from China,and i can speak 3 languages,Kzakh,Chinese,and English.

Hey,Scott! Thanx for doing that! I am kazakh and I am speaking 3 languages,kazakh, russian,and english as well. Yes,we have a problem,kazakhs don't speak kazakh language,but if they do so they do not speak properly. Give some time man,after 10 or maybe 15 years Kazakhstan will be kazakh speaking country. Kazakh language as the first,russian as the second. KZ government started to write all official documents only in kazakh.

well, thanks. nice of u to take my comment into an account. my point was that kazakhs should start speaking their own language wherever they are and not to ignore it. i speak russian, english, spanish but first of all i respect my own language! Hope u enjoyed ur time in Kazakhstan
