Best game on CD-i (though it doesn't have much competition). Along with "Zenith" and a couple others, this deserves to be on some "virtual console" type service....but they should keep in those nudalities!
I loved how that game was also an audio CD. I found this in the back of a closet, hadn't been touched in years. Instant nostalgia, immediately ripped the CD and played the game the whole day. Boy, that game sure was hard, never finished it. I couldn't get passed the 3rd level, but I didn't mind. That game is awesome, even today, and the soundtrack is just mindblowing. By the way, did you know there are cheat codes for The Apprentice? :D
This is it! THIS IS IT!!! This is the game for the CD-I I've been trying to locate, but I couldn't remember the game. I miss the old CD-I, this game was one of the best along with Mad Dog MacRee! Anyone know where I can get a Emulator for the CD-I?
You have to buy (yeah, I know, the cheek!) the emulator, I'm afraid. Even then, I heard a lot of cult games like Burn: Cycle and Lost Eden don't even play on it. Unsure whether The Apprentice plays on it, or not. I just bought another CD-i instead (can be cheaper), much less hassle. Best of luck.
Looks gorgeous, sounds terrific and plays great. Its a shame CDI didnt get more games of this quality. So the only other CDI title to use this games engine was Lucky Luke, right?
This was a gorgeous game which, in my opinion, was about the best thing on the CD-I. Sadly nobody has ever heard of it and it was forgotten. Many thanks for posting this. Any chance of some more?? Anyone.... anyone....
I sure as hell hope a free CD-i emulatore comes out free, that is efficient. I mean, the bleeding one you have to pay for (scandalous), doesn't even emulate a lot of the best titles from the CD-i's library. (Burn Cycle, Lost Eden). It's annoying.

I'd personally say the top 5 games for the CDI are:
Burn: Cycle.
Lucky Luke.
The Apprentice.
Lost Eden.
Cluedo.
That's about all I have for my CDI system.
