frontline did a great program on this called "rules of engagement" that goes into a lot of detail on what really happened that day in haditha, who was killed, where, why etc. It is much more involved than just the statements of Murtha who would was pushing an agenda with his statments. I was taught house clearance in the army. It has not changed since world war two . You go in through the windows if its clear you fire up tjrough the ceilings. then you storm upstairs kick doors in and lobb grenades in then you storm in and kill any thing that moves.this is ok in an abandonded town where the enemy is dug in. But not on a civilian housing estate. Where women children and old folk are sheltering. the insurgents had long departed but the troops made it a hole lot worse

BTW, the dropping of charges, which is what happened for most, is not "exoneration" or a finding of "Not guilty", as you erroneously proclaim.
In fact, for most, the charges could be re-filed by U.S., Iraqi, or international tribunals. War crimes are not given the pass that they once were.

The price of gas has doubled since the dems took over Congress in 06. They WANT high gas prices. It BENeFITS the dems and envirophychos to have gas prices so high. IT's what They WanT.
