This looks like a great product. Will it work as well on pure brass as it does on copper? Or not as well? Thanks for the opportunity to try it out. Hope you both have a wonderful 2012!
I'm really loving this ver-day. I have copper and brass for making books and I just know winning this bottle will send my creativity over the top--especially when I make pages for the book in copper with ver-day!!! Pick me!!!
This is a great video....can't wait to try out all my new tools on my neew copper! I hope I win a bottle of this awesome Ver-Day, cus I didn't pick one up when I made my last purchase and I just LOVE the patina that it gives!!! Really classy techniques! Thanks ladies!
This copper patina technique is fabulous! I love the color that this turns rather than the blackish color that some patina products leave. The frame and the cross are both gorgeous.
Wonderful examples, as always an inspiration! Will you be doing a video on embossing the copper? Having some problems since it is a heavier metal.....
Hi gals! Your samples are lovely. I have tried a few different patina solutions, and Verday looks like a winner! It's good to see you two behind (and in front of) the camera once again. Truly, you two work like a rusty, I mean finely tuned machine. Keep the ideas coming! Merry Christmas and all the best in 2012.
So, SO glad to see new videos :) ...love, Love, LOVE the possibilities with this! I have been to one of your favorite places recently (IKEA), and I have THE perfect items on which to Ver-Day some copper goodness! *w00t!* Curious, too, what the best sealant is for finishing up metal treated with this technique (?) Merriest of Christmases to you and yours! Very excited for all that the New Year has in store ~>:-D
Oh, I'd love to take one of your classes. The Ver-Day is something I really like, what a beautiful affect. I love copper and need to play with copper and Ver-Day. So much better than potato chips! lol
Love that Patina look, I guess ordering will be done, unless of coarse you pick me to win, Whine Whine Thanks Girls Happy New Years...

@hocogal You can use any type of liquid or spray varnish. Light coat and let it dry.

Cheryl---Do you need to use a topcoat over the item to keep verdi gris from coming off? Thanks for the video.
alheave 2 months ago
@alheave You can always use a spray or liquid varnish which you apply and let dry. That will seal it on and will stop the antiquing.
