heh i learned to kitesurf the in 2 days :) its really easy. the only problem you ll have is to switch stances from normal to goofy or vice versa :)

So when you are getting up do you have the kite in the power zone when riding. its probably a stupid question but I wanted to make sure

it's easier if you know how to landboard. my problem is the unusual drag through the water, I can board through waves, but can't on flat water??? weird eh?

My mate has only been kitesurfing 3 threes... Ever!!!! and he''s going back and forth,, Jumping and landing, and transfers like a pro... That Little %^&% lol

It's not hard at all lol.

When steering the kite down and you feel you can get up, place your board a little bit in the direction of the kite (not parallel but like 30 degrees to the kite). Now you slide a little on the water instead of pushing your board in the water with the rail.

i dont get whats so hard about it either it seems to be just the timing of the 2 actions, im a beginner and i got my very first waterstart right, only went a few meters after that though :)

If you're having trouble getting up on the board, learn to wake board behind a boat first.
