Eurgh... I dare say it's a fine organ, and I'm not going to dismiss the music either but goddammit the organ sounds finished. Not just out of tune, but overdue for at least half a million spent on it.

Wow, definitely gives a nod towards Vierne & Mulet. The organ could stand to be in better tune, however it kinda suits the raucous nature of the music.

This Casavant is in a 1913 intact condition! Half of it don't respond (notes) It's a superb instrument, with french carateristics like the Flûte Harmonique 8' in the grand orgue next to the Flûte Double 8'! And there's a Contre-Bombarde 32' (but english shallots like every organs of Casavant of this time) even there's not a 32' !!!

That's a little more than just a "nod toward" Vierne....!

Grandiose musique, très belle mais un peu sombre. L'orgue utilisé semble magnifique et j'apprécie beaucoup sa sonorité puissante et la précision de ses notes aigües. Dommage qu'on entende quelques bruits parasites dans l'audio. Bravo pour le cameraman dont les angles de prise de vue mettent bien en valeur la virtuosité de l'organiste.
