I've never gotten to the Doomsday Zone (I'm only 12, so I still have time) because: A, I don't have the game (planning to get Sonic 1-3+Knuckles DS Collection). and B, It'd probably be too damn hard. But just from this and a few gameplay videos, i know that the Doomsday Zone fight vs. Robotnik (NOT Eggman) is JUST FREAKING AWESOME.

There is a theory that Shadow is created after Gerald Robotnick see the stone tablet that are in the Sky Sanctuary, showing Super Sonic vs Robotnick on the Doomsday Zone. Seeing Sonic as the ultimate life form, he made Shadow, that why Shadow quills are upwards, like Super Sonic quills.

Man, this boss was epic the minute I finally got to it with Hyper Sonic! The asteroids zooming past as you fly, Robotnik's missles set for Sonic and battling for possession for the Master Emerald? That's the TRUE reason why Eggman's the TRUE final boss in any Sonic game, especially the old ones! Glad they did that again for Colors! ^_^
