  • @stegst140 We didn't see what happened, because it was a set up for the third season. Alas, cancellation ruins this. Anyway, here's my guess as to what happened... Ellison's message, "Will you join us?" Gave Weaver away as the liquid Terminator Cameron met in the future. Cameron agrees to join John Henry who asks the same question. She cuts open his CPU port, then she sits and willingly allows him to take her CPU. John Henry downloads to Cameron's CPU and travels to the future.

  • @stegst140 Cameron gave John Henry her chip. He traveled to the future to fight Skynet. This is why Cameron left the message, "I'm sorry, John."

  • What if the jeep explosion in 1-9 "What He Beheld" reset her eyes from blue to red? Remember, her chip was damaged, and that played out throughout the second season.

  • wow I don't know how you did this ,but you did a fantastic job

  • I agree, it would make sense for the human-allied terminators to have SOME distinction to them. I thought the blue-eyes idea was pretty cool, and it still makes sense even if Cameron still has her old "hard-wired" codes since she did consciously override them to continue protecting John.

  • I expected a quick hack job going in, but if I'd never seen the original broadcast, I would never have known this was done by a fan. Very VERY good job. :)

  • I read an interview or something that said they made her eye red in this episode on purpose. The reason they gave was because in "Sampson & Delilah," Cameron is never actually reprogrammed (which must have made her eyes blue), she just overcomes that command (makes sense since she started acting glitchy after that). I think this is the first time they show her eyes since that episode, so it could be that.

Still, I personally really like the "blue eyes" version better.

  • yeah bad john connor, ground me :D

  • good quality

  • Very well done with the cosmetic switch.

Though I think, with this, you can see why they changed it. Red is simply a much more threatening color, and Cameron had to look scary for the scene.

I'm guessing Cameron has the option of changing her eye-color. Blue, for when she's trying to appear non-threatening to someone, and red when she's in full-on Terminator mode.

  • Very nicely done. In the special feature on the dvd they have a reference picture of cameron with blue eyes with that makeup. I wonder why they changed it. Anyway, great job!!!

  • i'v never seen a terminator this hot before...

  • I don't understand. Why didn't Cameron attack Cromartie? Is it because she only does so when he's a threat to John?

  • bc hes not cromartie anymore and cameron knows tht giving her chip to him is vital in the futrure

  • What does he mean by "Will you join us"?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think that's it at all. Cromartie's dead. His chip was destroyed. Cameron was talking to John Henry. The question was a deliberate connection to the question asked to the machine (Weaver?) in "Today is the Day" and what Ellison was told to ask Cameron in the hotel.

We'll never know what he was referencing exactly or asking Cameron.

  • In episode today is the day pt 1 & 2 Jessie is sent on a mission by John conner she is told to give the redhead terminator a message "Will you join us" at the end of the 2nd episode Jessie gives the answer to Cameron

  • very well done. :-)

however, i believe that its possible for cameron to have actual red eyes, and for the lights inside of them to light up blue on random impulses.

    just a thought. :-)

  • I read that she could control whatever colour she wanted them to be. But I assume red is to mean bad and blue is to mean good.

  • Red would probably be infrared for combat, while blue would be when she sees in color.

  • Oo I never knew that. I always assumed they were simply programmed with red eyes.

  • yao

  • Wow!! AWESOME!

  • YOU ARE A GOD!!!

    Thank You!

  • I think that red actually looks less menacing. Arnold in T2 had red eyes. When I see blue eyes i think of the T-X which was a bad guy.

  • but Arnold in T1 was originally a bad guy... he killed John's father... lol

  • its weird how in t2 john grew such a strong attachment to the terminator that looked like the one who killed his father (ps, i know its NOT the one. its another model)

  • Well John wasn't born yet when his father got killed so there is no way to associate Arnold with the death of his father. As for Arnold having red eyes in the first movie I don't really count that since in T1 there wasn't a scene with half his face showing like there was in T2. Since TSCC likes to pay homage to T2 like with Cameron's imitation of Robert Patrick, I really think this scene is supposed to mimic Arnold's appearance at the end of T2.

  • My bro said the same thing and I told him they all use the same human appearance. That is why in T2 Sarah freaked out and ran at the mental institute, but they are different terminators.

  • sweetnesss

  • You did a fantastic job! This is how it should have looked! Mind sharing what program you used to do this?

  • After Effects CS3

  • Thanks!

  • man i want the music from this scene

  • You and me both. The music from TSCC is amazing.

  • Nice work with the effects.

I think maybe the red was done on purpose. Perhaps a reference to her chip glitch?

  • really good job taas007. It should have been blue!!!!! red looks more evil and scary, but cameron's eyes are blue. did they really think us fans wouldn't be going bonkers over this??? the DVD set should correct this bonehead move...

  • I thought about the same thing when I saw a red colour. To be honest I find red colour better. Maybe they tried blue and said that it's not as good as red, who knows.

  • First, that was a damn good job! I agree it may have been that her glitching had something to do with it being red, but that's something that could be explained later. Good work on this video.

  • Great video. I made a similar one, but mine was shorter. For consistency's sake, I really wish that they would have made her eye blue in the actual episode! Maybe when the DVD / Blu-Ray comes out they'll fix it, but even if they don't hopefully someone can put out a high-quality rip of the episode where her eyes are blue.

  • During this episode while John and Cameron are at the motel Cameron is looking outside the window. The motel lights change from red to blue, blue to red and so on. This is surely deliberate and symbolic somehow min 17 sec 40

  • @Hansone1983 I agree. Perhaps its like a computer hard drive or something where the blue light means everything is working , but it could go red if something is wrong.

  • Much better! Everyone knows that her eyes are blue, not red! ...But then again, maybe it wasnt a silly mistake, perhaps its red becasue the phrase "Will you join us" flicked some switch in her programming.....who knows.

  • No offense pal, but give a fan a break. That's why it's a fan vid. It's made to express love for the show. Also it deals with time travel in which story continuity can change and does. If you watch the show, you know that her eyes were originally established to BE blue, along with the fact that she is a special model. The fact that they're red in the finale is the strange part & likely has an explanation, along with the other cliffhangers we were shown.

  • BRING ON SALVATION.. Thats the real Terminator story, unless they bring Cameron as Allison or whatever in the movie. Then maybe ill shut my mouth..
