best boating tip i can give is stay the hell off the water. half of you boater clowns are rude inconsiderate shits. speeding through manatee zones, speeding through idle and no wake areas, drinking, rolling around in circles seeming like you have no idea where you are going, what you are doing, and why you are doing it. and what is it that assholes in boats love so much about disturbing people's fishing spots? its as iff you seek out people fishing on land and run up on their spots on purpose
@jmmays all i know is clown, if you run up on my fishing spots, you'll regret it and i'll ENJOY it..I keep a spare rod rigged up with old used 80 lb braid, no hook, no bait, and a float..so when you want to get cute and ruin my spot, your propeller is going to wrap up hundreds of yards of braid until your motor seizes up, and your dumb ass is going to have to drift or paddle..if I had to guess, you'll have over $1000 in repairs awaiting you once your sorry ass finally gets back to land.
Well, we don't have manatee zones in California. Maybe all the people in florida are morons and they don't know how to read navigational markers. Just a thought. Don't be so bitter. It was a joke.
right, navigational markers...those bouys that are about 150-200 yards off the beach here in Florida, they aren't there to keep the sharks out (I fish for them here all the time actually) they are there because motorcraft isn't supposed to be on the beach side of it close to where people swim. its as if the clowns in the boats seek out surf fishermen and that is how they pick where they fish while they have the whole gulf to choose from, its annoying
It's all good man. I was only busting balls. The vast majority of people who boat on Lakes Mohave, Mead, and Havasu are clueless too. And those are inland waterways with far fewer markers. I can understand why the boating mfg don't want boater licensing, but I am all for it.
I'm all for it too, lol..down here in Florida we are being constantly invaded by idiots from up north, they clog up the country clubs (lucky for me I don't golf) and crowd the beaches, so locals have nowhere to park, swim, or fish.
@jsg2891 Yeah and they bring all that nasty green stuff with em, and bring your economy back from the dead. Your right to be pissed if they are violating the law and or safe navigation. Next time Pick up the phone and drop a dime on em, Law Enforcement Loves easy tickets, and there are plenty of em out there in florida...

Yummy. I love manatee. It is a little tougher than Bald Eagle, but it had a unique flavor.
