Aha! I knew it! I've been telling people there was an American Psycho trailer with Rammstein's song in it, and now I've found my proof!

On another note, great movie. A lot like "Eyes Wide Shut" in that I didn't like it the first time, but it is so much better every subsequent time.

A friend who was somewhat mysogynistic and psychotic recommended this movie to me. The first time I watched it, I was rather repulsed by it. I watched it again several years later out of boredom. I started to appreciate some of the humor, but still wasn't into it. I then did a report on it for a psychology class. I now love this movie. I laugh my ass off every time I see it. It gets better every time.

So; suspense film? splatter film? is this worth seeing or not? I'm a Hitchcock and John Carpenter fan, so I'm not to fond of gore based films. In my opinion not the point behind a good horror movie.

It is not a gore for the sake of gore movie, in fact from what I heard the violence is toned down from what was in the novel. In my opinion, it is a dark comedy first and a psychological thriller second. If you watch it, give it a chance and watch it through to the end and you will probably like it.
