I'm only sorry that I just now discovered this EXTREMELY talented man. I heard snippets of this song on a TV show and it was so haunting and beautiful that I just had to search until I found it. I had no idea what a legend he was. Beautiful lyrics to go with that haunting melody! At his age, I doubt I will ever be able to see him in live concert and that's a real shame. It's obvious from the comments left here that he's been a world class singer for many, many years - with good reason!

I broke down today and bought the recording of his recent concert in London. This is his opening song on that video. What I love best is him running onto stage. The smile on his face looks like a kid on Christmas morning...such absolute joy! He jumps and dances around on stage like a kid, not like a 75 yr old man. Ya gotta love this man!!!!

Does it get any better? Leonard is a musical and poetic genius. His craft makes us come up in goose bumps and cry. I saw him in concert this past weekend, in Edmonton, CANADA, with Sharon Robinson, the Webb Sisters and his wonderful accompanying musicians. It was pure magic. It was the best concert my husband and I have ever been to in all of our combined nearly 120 years and we have been to many. It left us aching for more.

You are right, it couldn't possibly get any better. Leonard is a master of music and the written word, and his voice has only improved with age-he reaches inside me and digs deep- all the way to my toes. And that band! Those string instruments are unique and absolutely soul-stirring! My one wish, if I were to be leaving this earth, would be to attend one of his concerts.

I was there Yesterday, on Sofiero in Sweden. I totally loved the concert! Someone told me that he's tired nowadays, but I don't agree! This was definately one of the best concerts I've been to!
