Thanx for the upload. I love Tim Curry and I am so glad I actually got to see this all the way through. He was hilarious at the library. The only part that I would find scary/creepy was seeing Stan's head in the fridge. If I saw my dead friend's head I would have freaked out. The way IT was defeated was a little bit of a let down but the book sitting on my shelf is calling me definitely.

Thanks for the upload! Thats the first time I have watched IT all the way through, although have seen the different bits of IT as a series at different times seperated by years at a time. Interesting movie and it makes me a bit nostalgic too...I think everybody who saw this at first was with the movie until that bloody spider came along and its all like...oh...ok...thats what we've been building up to...hm. @MrReptile1231 I just finished reading it and I was kind of disappointed tbh. There were some very scary parts in the book, and I loved the parts in the beginning when they were kids, but I think it needed some serious editing. Stephen King likes to go into a lot of detail, but sometimes it's just too much about stuff that add nothing to the story and I found myself thinking "Get to the point already!" several times. I'm glad I read it though because I was curious.

@NamedAndUnnamedName she actually said "i know something... i know because my father told me. i know how to bring us back together." after beating it the power that they had was fading because it was beaten. as the power was fading so was the bond that held them together, throughout the summer, without that they would never have found the way out of the sewers, Bev new that so she kinda created a new one by having sex with them. this was enough to get Eddie back on the right track.

@NamedAndUnnamedName i don't think her dad ever touched her like that, at one point he told her to take her pants off so he can see if she was "intact" because he had seen her hanging out with the boys and smoking. and she ran out of the house, after that she meets up with the boys and they get chased into the sewers. her mom once asked her if her dad touches her and that confused the hell out of Bev, she had no idea what that was supposed to mean. i guess i could be wrong, but i doubt it.

He did in fact land on Earth millions of years ago in the spot that eventually came to be Derry. He rests every 26-27 years in hibernation and awakens to wreak havoc and feed. This explains the time difference between the Losers as children and as adults. In the book, his true form was seen through a process known as the Ritual of Chud. The Losers beat him with the help of another great entity known as the Turtle. They did use silver slugs to beat him the first time.

The movie doesn't explain things too much so let me clarify. The book elaborates perfectly on everything. Pennywise is not really a clown, its just a disguise he used to lure kids to him. He is really a large entity and his true form is a massive cloud of orange light. He transformed into a spider and that's the closest a human mind can get to understanding his true form. Audra was in a catatonic state because she survived seeing Pennywise's deadlights.
