They show all this care yet can't seem to see the obvious contradiction in the 'uncaringness' of dragging it in on a hook and then keeping it out of the water for so long. It was a FISH ferfucks sake.
It almost certainly forgot it had been caught about 3 seconds after being released.
It lived for 45 years...don't think it would have lived that long if it has been traumatised by being caught a few times.

To fish Conningbrook you need to become a Tier 1 member which is £350 pa +£20 for the key. It's not an easy water though.
