  • Gawd I miss this show. It was the best! Thanks Lt113. It was the realist of all police shows.

  • 10-13 basically a cops nightmare, when you hear that on the radio, every unit pretty much responds

  • @yankeeschamps2010 It also means get out of the way and off the streets b/c every cop is gonna be on edge!

  • For all you TV Cops... Get the code correct before showing your ass...

Search google. n2nov.net/nypdcodes.html gives NYPD Radio Codes

For those who said 10-13 = Assist Police Officer, pat yourself on your back...

  • @P3SuperBee who cares? it is not real.

  • @ 7:17.. I really hopew my girl and my daughter dont see me on that bed dead from the line of duty

  • love this show!

  • cant believe grey richardson got shot in the neck

  • hey anyone know the soundtrack used at 1.51?

  • @vikelu I heard that part somewhere and I cant think of what its called..

  • @kickapoo2006 thanks

  • I work as a part-time firefighter in Baton rouge,la. I have been first on the scene right after a shooting took place. The cops have red buttons on there radio's that sends an (officer down) signal to dispatcher. when I pushed that button on the cop's radio within minutes every cop from 3 parishes were there. Luckily it was a flesh wound on his shoulder.

  • @kirktruck Why the hell would you press the Orange button? The officer would do it himself. I work as a cadet and we aretaught if something like a gun or knife is out and the person is trying to hurt or kill you, the officer presses it. It shuts off all police radio talk, only officers who are there and responding are allowed to talk. Trust me, if the fire department responds to an officer down, of course the police would know because the officer goes through his radio to get EMS.

  • @kirktruck your making up bullshit lies, shut the fuck up

  • A 10-13 is about the same as a cop calling 911it means that I need help NOW and 40 some cops will show up

    Police 10-13= civilian 911

  • This is probably one of my favorite episodes... the ending... so sad. I cry every time.

  • 10-13 means officer down

  • @schindlermiller a 10-13 means officer needs asistance but all so the same.

  • wow

  • Ty should've just told the wife what her dead husband wanted Ty to tell her.

It's much better that the wife knows her husband's last words to her & their child than sparing someone's feelings.

  • @JimiHendrixisGodness What fucking ever, so you'd rather tell the wife that her husband was bleeding to death, gasping for air and scared out of his mind? Saying that he was unconscious and not feeling any pain was a hell of a lot better than having the wife know what he went through before he died - asshole.

  • This is one of the episodes I watched when I was younger.....inspired me to become a police officer. Years later I started my first Policing job over the summer. Cant tell you how much it means to me for you to put these up here Lt. You da man.

  • best show ever.

  • 10-13, 10-33, 998, it doesnt matter, any cop any department, its the worst radio call for an officer to hear over the radio, out there its family and when that radio call comes over it means haul ass your family is in trouble

  • If you were ever a police officer or fire/ems, hearing those words "Officer down", "My partner and I are down" are the scariest words you can hear. If you don't get goose bumps, you're not human.

  • Very solemn.

  • crazy episode

  • wouldn't have mattered if Davis held the cops neck, he was dieing no matter what... He was bleeding to much.

  • Gregg would have died no matter what, he was bleeding to heavy before Davis, and Sully arrived on the scene

  • RMP= Radio Mobile Patrol

  • @AGUSIS02 Thanks, always wondered what the letters ment ;)

  • Did Gregs partner marty Die?

  • THE worst thing to hear on the radio

  • @catchdue6 you're right, a 10-85 (additional units requested) is bad enough, but 10-13 (officer needs immediate assistance) means something way worse is going down.

  • @catchdue6 1013, officer down:(

  • what is

  • @catchdue6 what is

  • @flyboyz2211 I think he means "10-13", it's code for an officer getting shot, or shot at. Or something like that.

  • @LibertineDeSade 10-13 means code 3 or lights and siren

  • @Vosirax22 nope your wrong bud.... a sygnal 13 a.k.a 10-13 is officer in need of immediate assistance it doesnt means shots fired or officer down, a officer could use it for a accident hes involved in, or a gunshot wound

  • @Vosirax22 and your wrong too

  • @Vosirax22 code 3 is lights and sirens bud, not 10-13

  • where i work its 10-13 too, ive placed the call before, and ive responded to it and my heart goes to my stomach everytime i hear it

  • about 10 years ago 2 cops got

shot like that in Dublin Ireland see we

    got no guns .

    I love this show

  • sometimes, Faith looks like Courtney Love

  • no way. i don't think so.

  • This is one of the only few cop shows that I will watch from beginning to end and over and over this is just out right very dramatic and amazing...

  • poor davis

  • in nyc wen someone calls a 13 ur heart goes into ur stomach im in plain clothes now but its still horrible

  • Absolute truth. My dad is a Ny Cop as well so I've heard.

  • Red one over here in the Uk or Code Zero

  • its a 10-33 in the gta ( greater Toronto area) and yes this is a call ive placed but i hope to god i never here

  • good job lt

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the look of those 90's NYPD Caprices! Though, the new painting is awesome as well, of course! :D

  • wow,love this episode!

    thank you lt9113

  • this was sad so sad i cryed but i love third watch. your friend jacob mccorry.

  • 10-2, 10-4 and 10-0 amigos! :)

  • 10-38, 10-13, 10-23, 10-7, 10-6. Look how i can, and i know the understand of all :)

  • @Shadylasse

No such thing as a 10-38

  • Some areas they are. 10-38 = officer down in some parts of the country.

  • @Bren29

my dept has 10-38 as a traffic stop..10-15 is needs assistance. every dept is different

  • what does r.m.p mean

  • RMP is what the NYPD calls their patrol cars

  • does anyone know what rmp means

bren there is a 10-38 thats officer in need of assistance in maine

  • RMP is NYPD Police Cruisers.

  • Up here in Canada ,10-78 is a Need assistance call.Radio codes vary from some municipal police departments in this country.Regardless this type of call going over the air is something alot of officers hate to hear.Stay safe out there.

  • In Poland and in all europe we don't using somethig like 10 codes.

  • 10-13!!!
