Werehog REALLY holds the game back. I think Sega used the Werehog as an excuse to see (partially) what a 3D Ristar would play like. Take away the combat part of the Werehog segments and you basically have 3D Ristar. Sega should remake the first 3 Sonic the Hedgehog games with the Hedgehog Engine. It would sell well.
son b totally y i want the wii version after playing through the 360 verison. both sonics are capable of the same speed. one is just running by more stuff. it still looks bad ass here and i would've loved to have the wii stages in the 360 version. better start savin.

BTW - could you do Chun-Nan? The best I've seen so far is around 1:56, but you could beat it. I also think its a world record. :3
