i like both old and new styles of HMC before when maki was the vocals i liked the pop and lively energy and the new style with halca with pure rock and some heavy rock is awesome too too bad they disbanded T^T

yeah creative differences. in an interview in their early days they; said that they dont care what people think about their music. as long as they make the kind of music they love! i guess they lost the love!! This isnt a hate comment okay!!! i love ''High and Mighty Color"..!!!! im still jamming "SWAMP MAN",and "Re;ache"single in my car even "Rock Pit" still in there.!!i really miss them;their music was real cuz they wrote their own music. Thats why i Love "High and Mighty Color" Forever..!!

High and Mighty Color is a great band, regardless of either singer. Mkii had more energy, but Halca's vocals are more powerful. All in all, they were and still are great.

@UNSCSPARTAN058 I'd say that their voices are just really different, so they're hard to compare. Halca isn't so great at hitting high notes like Maki could, but her voice is stronger. It fits H&MC's newer songs. When she sings Maki's songs, Halca really doesn't blend well with the band...

My guess for why they are disbanding is because people refuse to let go of Maki and their popularity has dropped. They cited creative differences and the such as the reason, but from what I've heard about this band, everyone has always been on the same page since day 1. I would put money on it having something to do with fans not liking Haruka because they can't get over Maki. Maki is gone for good and apparently, so is H&MC now. Hope the "fans" are proud of themselves.

Halca's voice is pretty good, The band is working with nice vocals. H&MC is rising a lot with her. I miss Maakii, but when she left she put the band in good hands.
