Yeah a lot of these Time Bokan shows seem to follow a formula, with a boy/girl duo against a trio consisting of a stripper woman, a tall thin guy, and a squat, fat guy.
In many ways it's similar to our old Hanna Barbera cartoons that always followed a gang of teenagers with an animal sidekick foiling mysteries and criminals.
