  • Nice video, science news ftw!

I totally haven't heard of this protein study, shame on me, especially since it's from Australia. I wonder what kind of protein? And what it does?

And true about the different causes. Kind of like Alzheimer's. About 10% of cases are known to be genetic mutations, and rest have other causes. And then Alzheimer's itself is a type of dementia, they all have different pathophysiologies that can lead to the same symptoms, or at least the same category of symptoms.

  • Hey Kristen, nice to see you as always. Google must have already changed their logo. I see some high schoolers effort from winning a contest. Ah well, life marches on, eh? I hope you and all your readers have a blessed day in Christ.

  • I like the google logos especially the holiday ones. Thats why I use google as my homepage well one of the main reasons. LOL

Good to see your doing better.

Hum interesting I have noticed lots disease are cause from missing proteins or just proteins themeless.

Cool thanks for the info. Bye

  • Well I guess that should be an insensitive to eat as much protein and vitams enriched foods as possible- basically helps the odds maybe of developing symptoms? Interesing

  • Yeah, I read that too, very interesting. I only recently in the last year realized if you click it, it'll say why they have that picture there. Sorta like WebMD I recently added it as a favorite, and have been visiting it more, because they have main topics every day just like msn or yahoo but they always have way more medical info, related to whatever you can imagine in terms of topics, I've learned a lot just by visiting that page everyday. lol, I sound like a commercial

  • How interesting. There is so much we don't know about the brain.

  • Schizophrenics are not the missing link, Kristin. :P

  • I just finished a book on the causes and treatment Schizophrenia by an Orthomolecular Phychiatrist named Hoffer. It was very interesting. You might want to take a look at it. It is called Healing Schizophrenia.

  • I've read it too.

Ask your doctor about it, I bet he/ she won't know what your talking about. . . .

  • I must giggle at these Dr., back in the 80s(?) they thought it was a virus, then genetic (but that doesn't explain the twin study), so it's genetics & an unknown trigger, now a protein??? LOL

  • thanks for the info, just googled it, very interesting...I suspect our ancestors were not subject to psychotic disorders or depression...very sad day for the creationists!!LOL

  • Very interesting info Kristin.

  • The fossil is amazing, it's still intact.

It's good to see your smiling face! I just woke up and was excited to see a new video from you. :)

  • mmhmmm...

    interesting....

  • Very interesting stuff. Thnx, Kristin.
