2 things 1.guitar not enough overdrive or distortion.. 2. solo was good but that girl no offence isnt exacly wat i would call talented.

keep up the hendrix try some improv helps u alot when my band covered this at a party or something i would just improv someware near the tweveth along the guildlines of the f # pentatonic.. so try it out helps alot and even if u do "screw up the solo" than u can just play on without siezing up... bye
