  • selamba ko kata arab saudi guna fahaman wahabi..mana ko taw...

  • Asalamu Alaikum,

Can someone please translate from Malay to English what Dr. Haron Din is saying. I'm very interested in understanding what he's saying.

    Jazakillah Khair,

  • @ummsoapy Sorry but may I do the translation for you, just in case you're interested to know exactly what he said in the vid. I make in short, ie: I conclude some important points coz of course translating every word is impossible in this very limited post. He said, firstly in relation to magnetic bracelet that has been widely used & is believed to cure diseases..where he referred to the latest Fatwa from Saudi Arabia, where is states that the magnetic bracelet has yet to be scientifically proven

  • ...to heal diseases, but it only relies on users' testimony so far, but the negative aspect is when some people believe in that thing as a cure...without associating Allah as the One who gives the permission to cure all kind of disease. It involves our belief or aqidah, so they conclude it as HARAM for all the ambiguity surrounding its effectiveness & belief. Then Dr. Haron talks about some misunderstanding & misconception regarding 'selawat syifa'...which is a good solawat but has been....

  • wrongly deduced by some translators that the solawat syifa is not attributed to Allah, but to Muhammad by looking at the usage of Arabic language in that solawat, where he explains is as a total misunderstanding of a good solawat.

That's all & hopefully my translation will bring you some benefits as a Muslim. My apology should my explanation is not as accurate as what you might hope, or if it has some errors on the explanation itself.

  • @pitmie What does a magnetic bracelet have anything to do with faith and religion?

  • @HOBD: It does have something to do with faith & religion bcoz of the belief Muslims have over the wearing of these magnetic bracelets. If they truly believe that the bracelets are so magical, powerful & miraculous that heal diseases to the extent that they forget Allah as The One who allows the healing of all kind of disease (which in most cases, some tend to have so much faith 'in' the magnetic bracelet PER SE), well that directly connects to their faith (iman) for their belief..

  • @pitmie If the bracelet wearers are of Islam faith, any healing done presumptuously by the bracelet would mean that it had been allowed by God. There's no conflict in believing in God and not knowing the mechanism of everything. Not every muslim understands how antibiotics or any other drugs on the market work, yet others do not come into questioning whether they have fully understood how it works scientifically.

  • @homeofbrokendreams Have you ever heard about 'syirk al-khofiy'? It really has something to do with that. Dato' Dr Haron Din also mentioned about the 'syubhah' in relation to wearing the magnetic bracelet DUE TO; according to him & the latest Fatawa adz-Zahabiyyah, the reason that the bracelet seems more to an amulet rather than a healing device, since it is yet to be proven scientifically & that it merely relies on testimonies, which may differ from one to another. I was just translating...

  • ...his words as requested by one of us here, I don't know if you're questioning me or him coz this is not really my view (though I agree with him), & it's not even from Dato' Dr Haron coz he only made reference to the latest Fatwa in Saudi Arabia & opinions from renowned scholars in Saudi. Fatwas are usually made after rigorous discussions by Muslim scholars (Muftis), so that's the outcome of their muzakarah. They (seemingly) used Qiyas in this issue by resembling the bracelet with amulet.

  • @pitmie For those muslims who believe in the divine powers of the bracelet it is simply violating the rules of Islam where one has to only worship the one and only God of Islam, that's all. Whether or not he or she chooses to believe so, I think it's none of others' business. It's "hablumminallah". It's a one person's choice.

  • @homeofbrokendreams It's not about believing in the 'divine' powers of the bracelet, it's about how people believe in it. The 'aqidah' of some Muslims (not all), is assumed by the Muftis of Saudi could be largely affected by its 'power' clamoured by the sellers. You don't have to take my words, listen to his explanation carefully & then you decide. If you don't agree, well my assumption is that you know much better than those Muftis of Saudi...

  • to nazmanj; dun shows to other ur stupidity like shit bro..
