  • Very good! I'll have to try this! Thanks!

  • The temperature?

  • At the beginning of the video, I advise to heat the oven to 350 degrees. That ought to get you good to go.

  • is that a bong i see in the back?

  • I'm not sure what a bong is. What I think you are talking about is a a pepper grinder. Just squeeze the two ears at the top, and ground pepper comes out of the bottom.

    Range Rider

  • @rangerider23 lmao, google "Bong" and it will make total sense.

  • @rangerider23 A bong is a mechanism for smoking marijuana or "weed" for slag wiki it or check out mily cyrus video where shes trippin b's on salvia. lol ur a riot rider this made my day.

  • @rangerider23 I think a "bong" is some type of smoking apparatus. I've read somewhere.

  • @ROGAROEBI LOL!!!

  • @ROGAROEBI ya, its a bong lol

  • LOVE THIS RECIPE, RANGE RIDER!!

  • Thanks for posting this video instructions...I cannot wait to try it out =)

  • Thanks, this was awesome!

  • Hahahaha this guys is funny

  • Sure, I may talk funny, but I eat good. Try out this method yourself, and get back to me. I'm just a dirt kicking cowboy born and raised in Texas, with enough sense to move up to the Pacific Northwest in the Big Mosey of '92.

I know what I like; and like what i know. There are no flies on me, pardner.

    Enjoy this method yourself!

  • GREAT ViiDEO....ONCE AGAiiN.

ii LOVED THE RiiBS...OFF THE CHAiiN!!

THE MEAT FELL RiiGHT OFF THE BONES!! YUMM

  • Great video! I made this for dinner tonight and it came out perfect even though i used apple jam instead! Thanks a bunch buddy.

  • Thanks d'! I live in the Pacific Northwest and use this method during the winter months. Now that spring has arrived, I'll be using my smoker and grill.

  • I tried this recipe tonight for dinner, and it was a hit. The Country ribs I bake always come out tough, and dry. The secret is 2 hours of cooking, and using the aluminum foil. I typed out the recipe, and it's now in our family favorites.

  • You can also put individual country ribs into aluminum foil pouches and cook for the same amount of time. Not only does the foil lock in all the moisture, but each person can just get a couple of pouches and eat them out of there.

  • I'll bet the foil does lock in the flavor and moisture. Do you flip the foil using your method? The way I do it is to turn and baste.

    R'R'

  • I've never felt the need to vertically flip the food in the foil pouches. It gets cooked tender all the way through either way.

I have a crappy electric oven, though, so I do turn the pouches 180º since the back of the oven is closer to the coils and therefore tends to be hotter.

  • Well, "each to his own," said the Range Rider as he kissed his horse! I myself, don't use the foil pouch for the individual ribs. But, I can see why you would do that if you have left overs. My country styles don't last long enough to be left over!

  • I'm a college student. I can't afford dishes and pans. Foil is nice and cheap, and there's nothing to wash when I'm done.

  • I'm a Master Recycler for the county where I live. I hope you will wash your foil if necessary and recycle it instead of tossing it in the garbage.

We hardly have any garbage anymore to be trucked and trained to a land fill on the other side of the state.

Best wishes in your studies. And, bon a'tite!

  • I believe that the waste of clean water that is used to clean the foil

is a huge waste. Out weighs the reclaim of the foil.

  • @fivechildren - just learn how to SOAK things and you won't waste any water.

  • @TheNilvarg --college students need to shop at thrift stores and join the human race about not wasting and adding to landfills. Better learn that if you think college life is tough, just wait until you get out in the REAL world! Smarten up now, before it's too late for you.

  • dude seriously i do like your voice though! cool

  • I like the way you talk, I like the way you talk to UMMMM HHHMMM. I'd like some of them french fried tayters..MMMM HMMMM.

  • lol

  • Better than sounding like a northerner.

  • I like this guy. And he, really likes his cole slaw!

  • 2 questions: Will this method work if I can't cook outside only because I don't have a grill, regardless of weather? Secondly - will it work without the cole slaw? I'm trying the method now. Thanks!

  • Shucks; I figure it could work if you don't have a grill. Give it a try and see. I've only made it in inclement weather. I'm not sure how it would turn out if the weather is nice. It may depend. Try it yourself, and report back.

The slaw makes a nice side for this treat, but that's why they call it a side; it's not the main. I'll bet some crusty toasted buttered bread would work just fine.

    Larrapin'!

  • you love wine thats great !! keeps you young !! ps i subscribed !!!

  • yummmm !!!!!!!!

  • Method:

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Put onions, then ribs, in 10x13 pan, in single layer. Add all other ingredients to saucepan and heat to combine ingredients. Pour over ribs, cover dish with tin foil, and bake for 1 hour. Uncover, turn ribs, baste, and return to oven, uncovered. Continue to baste every 15 minutes, til sauce has reduced to a rich thick sauce and ribs have darkened, approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Serve.

    Range Rider

  • Ingredients:

    2 lbs. country style ribs

    1 onion, quartered and sliced

1 bottle Kraft Honey Barbeque sauce (or Kraft Honey Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce, if you like a flavor of smoke)

    1/2 cup apricot jam

    1/2 tsp. cayenne

    1 tbsp. brown mustard

    1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
