  • The first exercise is dynamic and quite a balance challenge! Very fun stuff and great for hip mobility and working the smaller muscles of the glutes such as the glute medius and minimus. Tracy never really explains why these muscles are important, because it can get technical. We know it will make your butt look better, but the other benefit is stronger lower back, better walking ability and posture.

  • carrielunar> she didnt look like this before she began her own workouts. she was a dancer with meat on her bones and people told her shed never have a dancers body. thats why i love her so much. people have told me ill never be thin because of genetics and ive tried it all and have yet to lose anything but water wieght. ive stopped lossing wieght. i started doing tracys webisodes and ive lost 5pounds in 2days!

  • I had to put my ipod in front of me so that i can watch her every move and hear her count. There's no better way to motivate me then sweat it out together!

  • Tracy Anderson doesn't really have a long petite looking, how can she say that she can redesign everyone. I mean she looks great, if anything, she looks like she has achieve the best shape her genetics allow. But clearly she will never look like Gwaneth Paltrawl. She will not be able to change everyone's body type like what she advertise!

  • Ummm how come she doesn't have a butt after all these "great moves"???  Eat some food, do squats, lunges, kickbacks, change angles all with weight added etc.

  • @Bootyman19 -- genetics. i work my butt constantly and eat all the right foods, but my butt is flat as a pancake. so sad for me. buaaah.

  • I'm a guy and tried this, my dad came in halfway through wanting to use the computer. This stressed my neglected side abs the most and also the muscles that rotate my hips outwards. It did make my butt feel a bit jelly like. While I don't think this will do as much 'damage' as pistol squats, it was certainly challenging. If you're a woman, you probably want hypertrophied buttocks without overly hypertrophied thighs that squats will develop.

  • hi 41 zett, thanks for posting it was burning. it's what im looking for. i have to mix up my workouts or i get bored. will you follow up on how it goes for you? i'm going to do this one and the abs (my trouble area..sigh). anyway if you can report back in a month or so. i'll note my calendar to do the same.

Now, I'm more confident about purchasing some of her workout DVD’s & have workouts to do until then.  Thanks again!

  • I did this webisode this morning (in addition to TA's Mat Workout DVD) and I felt every exercise in my butt and my thighs (outer and the harder to reach but super important inner thighs). As long as you really engage your muscles (especially your knee - you'll understand if you've watched the entire video) you'll feel it right where you're supposed to. This is a great webisode. I'm definitely going to do this every day in addition to TA Mat or TA PP.
