  • Get a new water pump cover I had the same exact problem

  • mix ur yz at 40/1 unless you are racing

  • u can try to stick that power vaulve peice on better or u might have a cracked like case or somthin u need to put the oil in and take the over flow screw out on the water pump make sure ur bike is strate up and keep putin oil in tell oil comes out then let it drane tell there is no more oil comin out of the over flow screw yes u dont want to much oil in and if u have to less u could like freze ur crank

  • I know its little late but that whole is called the weep hole...and no its not ok to patch it with super glue. All you need to do its put new seals in the water pump and maybe a new bearing.

  • ur gasket is probably tweaked nd its leakin

  • well,i have an 07 yz125 full blown completly unstock........and i us amsiol........and since the only yzs with a peep cover in the casing are the aftermarket caseing, you need to fill the oil up to the fartest hole,upward...and its the farthest rite...it is for sure the farhest right, but maybe second up....and fill it till it comes out of tht hole just barely and then you have enough

  • have u washed all of the oill off and see if there is a crack

  • There should be a screw in the side of the clutch cover on the right side. Take it out and fill up your crankcase untill the oil starts coming out of the hole then put the screw back in. If you filled the crankcase up all the way you put too much in.

  • i dont know bout the oil dripping but get new cases and than get a new bolt for the oil bolt beneath the engine n the oil and u get a measuring cup from a dealership and u put 650cc things of oil for ur tranny wear the kicker is

  • i dont know bout the oil dripping but get new cases and than get a new bolt for the oil bolt beneath the engine n the oil

  • first off you stupid bastard.... no it is not ok that you patch anything on your engine with super glue. buy the proper gasket. and two, it is leaking from your water pump. so you have engine cooling issues.

  • you need to clean in better

  • it sounds like you cracked you case maybe the power valve case or its blowin oil where the pipe comes out of the cylinder let me know if you get it figured out

  • it says right behind the kickstarter..and its 650cm...otherwords .65 liters

  • i know were it it coming from

the seal is bad around the shaft for the power valve

and there is a plug on the side you pull and you fill it with 10w40 or20w50 motor oil till it runs out of the hole but it is not a big deal it you over fill it some

  • @ReconSurfer what's your girlfriends name? Tom or Steve?

  • @cursdAtrum27 no its divine

  • LOOK the gasket where the exust pipe goes out !

  • Your Gay

  • @ReconSurfer no u wish i was gay cause ur gay and u want me

  • @bobisbad147 Nah sorry man i have a girl friend and anyways i,d be out of your leage Gay boy

  • @ReconSurfer c ur judging a boy that means u like them

  • @bobisbad147 Maybe in your country shit head

  • if its from the YPVS i dont think you should worry about it other than it looks messy. those are just unburnt oil from the combustion chamber. your even lucky its not from the tranny oil. one thing to fix that is to get a liquid gasket and smear it over the affevcted part. in the case the gasket rubbe ron the YPVS cover. clean the area first and apply that solution. it will turn rubber and should stop theleaking

  • Yamaha makes good everything. Hondas valves fuck up too easily and there 100 buckaroo apiece

  • Kawasaki's are junk yamaha only makes good 450's and ktm are over rated.

  • And still run it 32:1. I had to replace my crankshaft and piston from running 40:1

  • NEVER buy a Honda unless it's a two stroke. Kawasaki, yamaha and ktm are the bikes you should look at. Anyways, you need to tighten and adjust your power valve, I had the same problem on my 01 yz 125

  • @cursdAtrum27 tightening or adjusting anything will not stop that oil leak! He needs an oil seal either in the cover or up at the valve in the head.

  • Buy a honda problem solved

  • @dakota0199 those fuckers leak JUST as bad!

  • eaust gasket

  • retard i do mine 40 to 1

  • dude there is a check screw in the crank case that u pour oil into until it comes out

  • if you want to stop it, then quit mixing oil in the gas! that problemis solved but you'll get an even bigger problem later! i'd run 40:1. it will still drip oil but a lot less

  • 32:1 for a 125? hell do 40:1

  • gaskets for the exhaust manifold

  • it's normal, you don,t ride your biek well, ride it harder a little bit and clean your powervalve

  • Have the same problem too on my 99 yz 125 although blackoil runs from overflow excessively sometimes, spoke to shop mechanic about it he said do not worry its only excess premix draining it wont effect performance.

  • I'm having the same problem on my 2001 yz 125!!!

  • Your running rich... you need to jet the bike correctly! its not a shot gasket

  • theres a crew u take out once the oil comes out it full

  • wow u covered ur vent for the water pump

u need a new powervalve seal n gasket for the powervalve cover

also dont ride it like a pussy thast y u hav all that oil

  • dont worry about it, oil always comes out of the power valve. u probably have a bad gasket around the linkage.

  • Yes use super glue on an engine that gets hot. GREAT IDEA !

  • go buy some jb weld or cold weld. that will fix it, dont glue it it will come off

  • fill ur transmission oil up with that belray can u got there to half way of the sight window for the transmissionopil so u might wanna add a bit more so until u c the oil at half of the window thats wen u stop pooring it in

  • but my bike is a yz80 so?im not shure?

  • i run the exact same oil. it takes 500ml(which is half of the bottle)

  • Your powervalve gasket is shot or clogged.

  • its not the valve it sounds and looks like ur mai water seal m8 myn whent not to long ago

  • buy a new gasket and cover bro.

  • how do you add that little timer thing that stops the video for like 5 seconds? thanks.

  • put 23 oz of that oil in and take that little screw out that looks like its not going to anything if oil flows out then its correct, with that hole you patched with super glue u probally cracket ur engine case as for the oil coming out of every were your crank seal might be bad and its letting oil into the crank and pushing it out and goes into your water pump bring it to a mechanic or if you have a good knowledge of engines tear it down take a good look at it

  • wow, this bike dosent have a power vavle, thats the water pump, the only reason why your getting oil in your water pump is because its not sealed up proporly, get a new gasket and have a dealership put it on. thats all thats wrong with it. and i would suggust you clean out your radiators and put new fluid in them, cause its pumping oil and coolent through your engine and radiators. thats not good at all.

  • it has a power valve

  • lol you fag nearly all yz 125's and 250's from the early 90's onwards had powervalves, yamaha invented the power valve, you know? YPVS?

  • it actually does have a power valve dumbass. dont post something unless you actually know what your talking about

  • @jkh1457 it has 2 powervalves to be exact

  • @jkh1457 ofc it has a power valve u tit

  • @jkh1457 Yes it does you bloody idiot! Its leaking right out of the power valve cover because either one or both of the power valve actuator arm or shaft seals are gone. It can also be leaking out of the water pump weep hole like he said

  • idk it doesnt have anything to do with the ratio of oil mixed with gas

  • dude maybe you should clean your bike. if you do that you might discover another random whole,:P

  • if you put too much oil in it it will blow it back out throw the power valve

  • try replaceing the rubber valve gasket on the power valve

  • nice dent in the header that is not good.

  • its so small it wouldnt make a difference

  • Dran the oil and make sure the washer is still there

  • ok first of all you should just stop.

second you are supposed to put 650 ml of 10w30 oil in. it says that right where the fill hole is.

third take a wrench or screw driver and tighten things

4, take your finger and stick it in your bum, then touch the oil thats dripping out and smell it. is it gas and oil , just oil, maybe its anitfreeze, that will narrow it down.

5, the screws that hold the powervalve cover on can only be accesed by removing the motor. are you qualified? no.

  • I would think that you should replace the rubber gasket on the power valve because it may have gotten dried out and the oil is seeping out.

  • Super Glue ? Seriously ? Thats a Big NO NO ! If you Expect Anything Nice Do it Right.

1st off If theres a Hole in a Casing Something is Broken.

2nd Looks like Leaky Gaskets its a 9 Year Old Bike Gaskets are Paper and Meant to be Changed Everytime That Seal is Broken when Peice is removed.

And Look Online For your Oil Specs !

This Isnt Bullshit Toy Time Its not a Goddamn Tonka Truck Son Get your Shit Straight.

Leaking Oil will be The Least of your Worrires When your Crank Locks Up.

  • its the oil seal behind the propeller in the water pump its $8 bucks from yamiha its a simple job

  • but there is a little hole under the engine and its dripping out there

  • u need ur case replaced.

  • lisen yamahas dont have power valves Hondas do and kawasaki has its own version called kipps valves but yamahas dont.

  • you fucking bell end. YAMAHA CREATED POWER VALVES HENCE THE TERM YPVS-YAMAHA POWER VALVE SYSTEM??? yamaha are the only bikes to have a power valve because its licensed to yamaha, kawasaki and honda use a different technique, KIPS stands for kawasaki initial port system, it changes the volume of the expansion chamber, which is similar to the honda system. dont talk shit when u dont have a clue what your on about.

  • lol honda came out with it first

  • no they didnt bud. yamaha created the first powervalve then honda picked up on the idea, but seeing as they couldnt use a powevalve because its licensed to yamaha, they created a system which changes the volume of the expansion chamber.

  • dude suzukis have powervales to i just sold one i had and it had a powervalve bud

  • yh i know, buts its a different concept, they still call it a powervalve but its not the same as ypvs (yamaha power valve system)

  • This is true. Honda did come out with a similar concept in the mid 80`s called ATAC. Automatic timing advance control

  • yarp.

  • @bobisbad147 spray brake cleaner around the hole and check if it is definitely leaking out of the hole. Your leak in the video appears to come out of the power valve cover meaning an oil seal needs replaced

  • hey you need a new water pump seal and a new water pump gear and a new water pump shaft.

  • something must be busted in the engine idk about dirt bikes

  • looks like summit to do with your cooling system, you got decent seals round your powervalve and water pump?

  • dude beond me what that is, its not coming from the puke tube is it? happens on mine too if i dont drive the piss out of it. and for the oil measure out 650ml and dump it it, then to check if its enough undo the oil leavel check bolt, its the one on the case (its got a copper washer behind it) its in the middle of the screen at 1:00. Fill it untill it drips out of that and its good. btw 10w40 yamalube is good stuff too.

  • its on the clutch cover...its the screw/bolt in the front closest to the water pump

  • you should read the side of the clutch cover near the oil fill cap and it should be lime 650 cm"s cubed......ans that bolt on the clutch cover directly behind the water pump is am oil fill level check plug and you should take that out until the oil stops leaking cause i know u put too much in

  • i have no idea where that is located

  • Check the seals make sure they are tight.

  • Yo man.

i have a 99 and mines used to do that too.

i just hot glued all around that area..

    fixed it lol

  • idk if i want 2 do that cause it might brake

  • hahahahaha, times like these when you wonder why the fuck you bought a motocross bike to play about on a fucking farm & fields on muwahahahaha, ENDURO 4EEVER !!!

  • dude im saving up 4 a wr 250

  • Yamaha WR250F or Husqvarna WR125 ? I like the yammy lol =P

  • manovleedz

    shut the fuck up.

stop hatin because this bike can beat your P.O.S. enduro trash.

  • its fine its just comming out of the over flow valve

  • i no but y though my friend has the same thing and its never done that and he mixes it the same

  • you probly put a little to much of that oil you said you didnt know how much to put in your bike,

    Nice Bike

  • buy a better bike fuckhead

the hill was steeper than it looked dumb moterfucker i will kick youre ass anyday in riding

  • damn straight brandon. haha

  • r u and wizbang320 on a team or something cause neither of u like me 4 some reason

  • we never said we didn't like you, you just suck at riding...thats all.

  • wow that makes me feel alot better

  • yeah, no problem, if you ever need us again to make you better, call us up.

  • ok my sister just died from cancer so i dont have much money and im trying to make the best of wat i have so i would appriciate it if u would stop talking shit 2 me thank u

  • @bobisbad147 Sorry to hear about your sis,,,,,,,,, thats horrible. There is def a lot of haters on here. If you didn't already figure it out, to fill your clutch oil just take out the bolt that is not on the outside of the clutch case. It's a lil off centered and fill slowly till it spills out then your good to go. The other oil I would say is possibly a bad power valve gasket. Clean off engine good ride and see where it's comin from. If it is from the power valve gasket you can

No big deal u can change it, but I think you would have to take apart the top end. Hope that helps u

  • does it still run?

  • ya perfectly
