Jodie Prenger is the best Nancy but she's not as good as Shani Wallis's role as Nancy in the 1968 OLIVER! musical there both amazing in there own ways and they are both diffident I fell in love when I first saw Shani Wallis as Nancy when I first saw OLIVER! so really no one can compare to Shani Wallis as Nancy but Jodie is my 2nd favorite Nancy I have gotten used to her as Nancy I haven't seen her show yet but I want to. Who do you think is a better Nancy Shani Wallis or Jodie Prenger?

She got the great reviews for her performance as Nancy, and personally I see her as a leading lady in other roles, even smaller roles like Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera. This lady is gonna go far in musical theatre. Just watch her!

Jodie Prenger is exactly as Charles Dickens described Nancy: hearty. Her warmth, strength, diction and precision as a musical performer make her not only the best, but the only choice for the role. Jessie is talented, but too raw vocally, physically still awkward and given to uneven performances. Sam will be a star, but is currently too young. The real tragedy is Rachel, who gave ultra-professional, consistent performances, has a thrilling voice and is frankly, the best actress of the lot.

She suprised everyone by singing this when everyone thought she would sing send in the Clown - which she kind of should have done! Where as with Jessie, everyone was kind of expecting her to sing 'The Man That got Away' - which was a good choice. I never liked Jessie but she did VERY well in the final...

I'm from NY and have seen a lot of Broadway shows. IMHO Jodie has that star quality to turn a show into a showstopper. I would definitely come see her in the West End if given the opportunity.

I am not having a dig at Jodie, I just think that the fact that she lost so much weight less than 2 years ago, put some back on and is now commenting that she is going on a crash diet, is a concern health wise. I hope she gets the RIGHT advice, from the right people before she does this.

when i saw her in oliver she didnt struggle with any of the notes and sounded really good in all songs. I think shes improved somuch since IDA.

I live in Australia so wont be seeing the show.
