Why si it when I installed this, and followed this, every desktop still has the same icons and if I delete the icons from one desktop, the icons on the other desktops are deleted too, and when I restored them only 5 of them are showing on all the desktops. Now I have to go to my desktop folder instead of the actual desktop to open programs. WTF?
could you by chance make a video explaining how to do it in the 1.6 version? I tried doing it but it looked a little more complicated than this one ;)
@ThePianogirl91 It's the same if you're using the old mode. Using the new mode (see 'Settings/Switching desktops/Customize desktop icons - Advanced/Create a separate folder for each desktop'), use the common cut, copy & paste methods from the right-click menu.
@theabcwriter 1. Yes; 2. Yes; 3. Yes; 4. In the Desktop default folder. They're just distributed 'virtually' by moving them into a non-visible area of your screen.

How do you get the icons to only be on the first screen? When I put a desktop icon on it goes onto every screen

@EuroHEV: See 'Configure desktops' from the main menu of Dexpot.

Can you have a different wallpaper on each desktop? I doubt it, but it would be cool, since you could easily differentiate wach one.

Can I also put real files (not just shortcuts to a file) on a virtual desktop This would be a great way to organize files visually.
Can you still change the size of the icons and the distance between them?
Is the right click context menu the same as on Window's main (normal) desktop?
And: Where do files on a virtual desktop appear in Windows Explorer?
Thanks in advance!
