  • agreed mindless viking image is to blame for all this bullshit. they say whale taste like horse. what a bunch of mindless fucks destroying all these creatures to satisfy their bellies. and whale tastes like horse. great job fuckheads

  • It does not taste like horse you dumb ass. Try it your self before saying what it tastes like. I have eaten minke whale a few times and it tastes good. Its better than beef. And whats the difference in killing a stupid cow or a stupid whale. They both taste good.

  • Dude STFU. oalfurhh03 with all the spam your leaving coulda fooled me I thought your favorite meat would be spam.

  • Where do you see spam, Did i post an ad or repeated messages with the same content. NO. If you don't agree with someones comment that does not mean its spam.

  • The killing you moron, the killing! Instant death or bleed to death, or drown, you choose..... I´d love to shoot an arrow into your hip in an ocean and just watch you swim for your life. Then have bottom ocean creatures have a good munch of your JUICY tenderloin. Thats the difference.................. MONG!

  • We are meet eaters, Its just in our nature to hunt, kill and eat game. Just keep on eating your grass but don't try to tell us meat eaters how to live our live. Would you ban wolfs to hunt, they bite in the legs and neck of the pray, crippling and suffocating it. Its not pretty. But nature isn't pretty.

    p.s. they use explosive harpoons.

But it sounds like you would enjoy killing a person just for fun. Thats evil, killing for food is not evil.

  • I celebrate the bankruptsy of island! Kaupthing bank! Go Go Go!

By the way, you aren´t pretty!

  • @olafurhh03 If it was your "nature" to eat meat, you would be eating it raw in the wild, like the carnivorous animals. So, macho man, let's see you do that. And let's see you tell Paul McCartney face-to-face what you just wrote here.

  • @etbella3

Well when we cook minke whale it is almost totally raw. Its best to fry a thick cut for a few seconds both sides, the middle is raw. Have you heard of Steak tartare and sushi? Besides we are not carnivores. We are omnivores, but you vegan people don't seam to be able to get that in your skull. Pigs and mice also eat cooked meet if we give it to them.

P.S. Why the hell are you talking about Paul McCartney? And why should I be afraid of him?

  • @etbella3

And this has nothing to do with macho. Women like meat also. And there are also fanatical veggie men. I don't care if you choose not to eat meat. But don't you fucking dare telling others they should not. Eating all food types is healthier than eating only veggies.

  • @olafurhh03 I'm a woman, I'm a vegetarian, meat disgusts me. Also, more women are vegetarians and vegans than men. Men who are vegetarian and vegan get made fun of by other men, aka losers.

  • svalbardviking, heartless prowhalers like you disgust me. brannsår inne helvete.

  • a neat little whale!! damn any who kill one.

  • aww is soo beautiful i cant believe they kill them for nothing =[

  • For nothing? For FOOD! Have you ever tried a Whale beef? That is the best there is!

  • is not natural to eat whale meat when it has mercury element poisoning it can kill

  • Yes, thanks to the great countries of USA, Brittan and the heavy industries in central Europe; Whale, Seal and also Polar Bears are endangered. Luckily, heavy substance like mercury dont go in the meat, but stays in the fat, except for the polar bear, witch get heavy poisoning.

  • You see the difference in eating meat from a pig that is not endangerd, and breeds about 15-30 pigglets a year. And eat an endangerd whale that breeds ONE calf every 3-6 year.

  • Hmm yeah, you realise that the Mink Whale is not endangered? We take about 800 animals each year, but we could have taken 8000 without impacting the population. The blue whale, and the Greenland whale are endangered spices, but they are under protection even in Norway.

  • minke whales are not endangers you hippie cunt, get your facts straight for ones. There are more than one fucking whale species so if one whale species is endangered that does not mean the other species are

  • so fat

  • Those whales taste good!!

  • you sicken me.

  • Good!!

  • you sicken me too XD

  • Why do I make you sick? Isnt food natural for you?

  • some foods... i'm a VEGGIE :D

  • Well. IF you are a vegetarian and dont eat any types of meat, then I can respect that. But in my culture whale (only Mink whale now), is a very natural part of our diet, and it has been so for hundreds of years. Of course, many types of whales are on the endangered spices list and need protection, like the mighty blue whale. However, Mink whale is not endangered. And they also take recourses from other whale spices that are in trouble, so what is wrong taking out 800 animals every year?

  • what is your culture

  • The Scandinavian/Nordic/Norwegain Culture.

  • What does it taste like??

I need to know, It has haunted me forever!!!

    mmm, whale...

  • are you bloody insane? whale meat contains high levels of mercury, more than that found in salmon and bass, and dioxons. enough to leave you permanently neurologically impaired. now theres something that could haunt you forever. whales for food is unecessary and bloody ignorant.

  • Why is it ignorant, whats so special about those creatures, they are just dumb grazers like the cows. They are not endangered so why not hunt them for their juicy meet, they taste so good.

  • Hmmm

Well, on a more serious note, I'll readily agree with you that harvesting whale meat is unecessary. Especially with so many other varieties of meat readily available and in great abundance where i live. However, NorPac Minke whale meat only has a total average mercury level of 0.10 ppm. In the states, anything lower than 1.0 ppm is considered safe for consumption by the FDA. Traditionally, It's the toothed whales that have dangerously high levels of mercury.

  • How much mercury to toothed whales have?

  • Depends on the species and their geograghical location upon harvest.

For example, in a 2002 cetacean study conducted by japanese toxicoligists, studies confirmed that samples of striped dolphin had an average mercury contamination of 63.4 ppm while false killer whale had an average of 81 ppm.

If you want, I'd be happy to cite the sources of these statistics.

  • It tastes very good. If you get a tenderloin from a minke whale its even better than a tenderloin from cattle.

  • The taste of a killing in a SLOWmotion is what???? Do one care if you slaughter a chicken painfully or a cow with a big arrow in its hip, SLOWLY bleeding in it into death....................yes one do care.....! I´m one of the ones CELEBRATING Island´s bankruptsy!!!!!!!!!! Kaupthing Bank GO GO GO!!!

  • Really!?!

    *drewl*

Hey, thanks for answering. I always wondered what it would be like.....

  • @svalbardviking I don't give a shit if it's part of your culture, it's the 21st fucking century, it;s time to join the rest of the world and stop brutally killing obviously intelligent organisms

  • @mrbiggles563 I'm sorry, but why is killing one whale (one that is not endangered) worse than killling a thousand lambs or chickens for the same amount of meat? It's more meat for less life.

  • @rebekkaariel really? is that your response? Is that ALL you can come up with? I'm so sick and tired of you pro-whaling idiots comparing whaling to mass slaughter. That might work on anyone who is against whaling but for livestock slaughter but I have never met or spoke to anyone like that. Don't bring another issue into this one. If you want to comment about livestock slaughter, do it on a video about that issue. By the way, I DON'T EAT MEAT XD

  • @mrbiggles563 My point was actually that there isn't an issue about livestock slaughter, because nobody seems to care about lots of little lives being taken, but protest harshly to one as large as a whale's. I'm not pro-whaling, but I'm definitely not against it. And I love how you didn't actually reply to my question, just belittled my cause. I admire you for not eating meat, but the admiration fades a little when you talk degradingly to other people who have different beliefs.

  • @rebekkaariel Nobody cares? You haven't noticed the amount of activism towards ending livestock slaughter have you? And what do you mean little lives? And to answer your question, not only is commercial whaling illegal, but whaling is INCREDIBLY cruel. It takes a whale about 20 minutes to die.

  • @mrbiggles563 No, I haven't noticed. But I guess there's a way of protesting everything these days. And commercial whaling is legal in many countries, but of course I am against illegal whaling as it cannot be supervised by law. I'm not sure about this, but I think there are some regulations about the method of killing the whales, and whaling boats have regular inspections on how long it takes the whale to die (at least in Iceland). But, of course, animal slaughter is always going to be cruel.

  • @mrbiggles563 And when I say little lives I mean little animals.. I thought that was obvious in the whale/lamb comparison

  • @rebekkaariel Seeing as though most people who say that kind of stuff mean 'insignificant' I misunderstood you. That's why I asked.

  • tofu eaters sicken me

  • LOL he/she looks sleepy...Like "Wake me up when you have something interesting to say..."

  • amazing animals..so beautiful!

  • Slaughtered in their thousands every year by the Japanese. Boycott all Japanese products!!
