No, this doesn't blow, you blow at this game. The controls are pretty responsive, if you couldn't get used to them all the way to the freaking FINAL BOSS fight, that's your fault, not the game's. You also like to call the game stupid, but I really think you do that because you just can't admit you suck at thinking games. Your style is mash-up. Crouch button crouches. If you move a direction, it goes into crawl. Crouch again goes back to crouch. Crouch again stands up. If you hold down crouch, you immediately transition from standing to crawl; or immediately transition from crawl to stand. It's no more convoluted than that; and it's a key mechanic used throughout a lengthy campaign.

If you use the codec at all; the game NEVER gets tired of going over the controls with you with almost patronising detail.
