They get out to points like Doylestown, Landsdale, Wilmington, and Trenton, but it does all sort of radiate out from Philly.

To help make Amtrak look good? Actually, on this stretch at least it's due to the stops being barely more than a mile or two apart. The express runs can show some hustle though.
