That Carolina team was the remnants of the Joe Morrison era. Half their signing class in 1988 reneged after Morrison's death, and Sparky Woods was NOT the man who needed to succeed Morrison, Great position coach, lousy head coach. 1990 was the year the effects of the reduced depth began to show.
@tigers2260 - Has a chance. I know all the talk is about UNC's defense (and deservedly so), but Clemson's defense should be very good this year, better than last year.
@tigers2260 - I think Clemson will be the surprise of the ACC this year, win the Coastal Division and make it back to the ACC Championship game. I feel the Tigers can win 10 games this year.

I think that Clemson will keep this roll going and from the looks of it, Clemson will win at least 10 games this year and has a great shot of not only winning the Atlantic Division, but the entire ACC.
