  • wow, i heard this like 5 years ago on rage and ive been looking for it since

  • I'm British and like a flavour of both Australian and American. Music is music, if I like it, I like it.

  • great song, shit video.

  • great song

  • I haven't been listening to too much hip hop recently, but this is quality music. Real nice sample, and it's very refreshing to hear this instead of the usual Drake, Weezy, and garbage stuck on my local mainstream radio stations (I'm from New York). Very good shit right here, bravo sir.. or I guess I should say, mate!

Also, I hate when people say a certain style is considered "real" hip hop. Seriously? Every artist brings something different to the table and that progresses hip hop as a whole.

  • Where can i get this song?

  • real aussie beat!!!!!

  • i just realised that my sisters ex-boyfriend is best friends with dialectrix ......FUCK!!!!

  • aus hip hop till the days wat ever good comes out of america haha

  • Respect from Germany!

    insane Flow.. smooth as silk!

  • and dope video too!

  • that respond react sample is such a dope line

  • this is an awesome clip love it

  • Slowly the entire world has turned around to Aussie Hip Hop. I got 10-20 mates in each the UK and the US who all love AHH. But more like this guy (who is the F**KING bomb), Drapht, Horrorshow etc. They don't seem to catch onto more hardstyles like Funkoars yet. THEIR LOSS BROSEPH'S!!! ;). A lot of Canadians say Drapht is like their local music.

  • why has every aussie hip hop song got big comments about difference of opinions and ramble other shit, just listen to the song, who cares who hates it or not.

  • I think I just found my penis.

  • Holland is fucking gay and so is America.

  • @cheesedroid Yeah totally. Every single person of the millions and millions of people that happen to live on those pieces of the earth are "fucking gay". Retarded goddamn idiot.

  • @cheesedroid Yeah totally. Every single person of the millions and millions of people that happen to live on those pieces of the earth are "fucking gay". Retarded goddamn idiot.

  • @Wooxbass09 haha nice one, very close!

  • geez guys why do some people have to hate so much if you dont like it then good on ya no need to be whinging bout it aussie hip hop rocks so does hip hop from other countrys all these hip hop artists are tryen to do is make a name for themselves and aint no need for negitivity come on what happened to peace in the world?

  • wu tang clan shouldnt be compared to dialectrix.. completely different genre

  • *jaw gape

    incredibulous flow

  • my mate told me dialectrix looks like an older version of me.

  • dopest track

  • yo you should do ur nxt 1 in 1080p hd ppl love u dail

  • Australia... BLUE MOUNTAINS N.S.W, we're aussie hip hop artists are created

  • dialectrix's flow is incredible

  • you know whats funny your saying aussie hip hop is shit and american stuff is better like wu tang clan, etc but it is known that bliss n eso and hilltop hoods have made songs with some of the wu tang clan, hilltop hoods the return features GZA and i believe bliss n eso made a song not to long ago with RZA. i listen to both and you cant compare american hip hop to aussie hip hop they're both different in there own way and have their own unqiue style, they sound totally different.

  • @lolaman6 yeh mate nd BnE have made a song with xizbit heaps of aussie/american artist feature on each others songs

  • this is a fucking awesome track!! loved your like a version as well big ups to the talent!!!!

  • seriously..... good shit. keep it up au . im in syd. it dosnt matter i like bone thugs. and thumb me down buy im sayin au nz whatever . im an outkast. its on my shirt. dlx is a star

  • fosters! lithgow dubbo bathurst! oioioi penrith mt druit ferny grove ipswich redbank plains portland chilligo

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSSSSSSSSIE!!

  • @bongsmokinghippy ... OI OI OI!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you like TRUE hip hop how can you not DIG this !!

the 5 people must have been smokin crack!

  • People have opinions. People have preferences. Sometimes, a lot of times a song becomes a hit because of the beat behind it or just because of the artist. But if you like it, then like it. Don't go dissing other music and talking all about the different cultures as if you know EVERYTHING about that culture. Because more than likely, you don't. Anyways. Let's leave the comments for the music, not where you come from.

  • fuckin love it!

  • 0:43 - 0:51 Trololol

  • @FullMetalAngelREBORN

    Oh god, can't unsee.

  • 2777 springwood

  • 2777

  • @mabaman whatdya mean sonn

nearlly all aussie hip hop is sick

  • sign language rapping

  • did you notice he was also rapping in sing language

  • this shits good man

  • this shits good man

  • I'm American, And I don't see why so many people have to diss on us . We like all music (mostly) you can call it bullshit or whatever but it's still good . We don't diss on your music and we listen to it too . Hop Off people .

  • @JeIIoh

you are right. every country has is own rap style.

    peace to hip hop

    greetz from germany

  • @JeIIoh ... its cause we (aussies) rap about real shit, not money, guns, hoes and drugs. dont get me wrong there r alot of great artists over there that produce Gold but the thing that seperates Aussie Hip Hop from American is the sincerity.. american rappers earn millions and dont understand what doing it tough is, although they'll tell ya they do to make thier money. In australia u can walk into obese records and get served by the artists on the label. can u get that in america? .....sencerity

  • @Mopstylz You really can. We have a lot of underground artist that are still up and coming or sometimes don't always get signed, but they're still well known. Other than that, I say if you like the music leave it alone. The reason why people listen to the sex, drugs and money thing is because it's something they want. Broken people who want what those rappers are talking about and that's why it becomes a hit. Or, even the beat is sick. We've got diversity in America. You just have to find it.

  • @AnaOhDarling ok so answer me this, were the rappers 20 or even 10 years ago in the hip hop scene better than they are now? im talking the likes of the big names such as Snoop, Dre and lets throw eminem in there.. No they arent because theyve sold out to the Pop Culture.. to sell music to these "broken" people cause they know theyll make more money.. its a business. n it comes across in the music..like any business the larger target audience u hit the more ull make.. n theyve sold out

  • @Mopstylz Yeah. cool. Anyways, just saying, all our music isn't the same, you gotta look for it. People sell out a lot, but look at their old stuff, they do rap about the real stuff. It's just they do have to appeal to people. It's how they make their living. It's just how it is.

  • Comment removed

  • get use to it dude about every single song that is made by a Australian hiphop artist will have a comment saying " Damn ozhiphop is better than every other country's hiphop " and so on.

I'm from Australia and ill tell you now its just a ignorant bogan prespective and there is nothing you can say that will help them evolve from retards to something a little more understanding.

  • @JeIIoh Just came here to listen to this song " i dont see why people have to diss on us. We like all music mostly" Us? We? are you trying to speak for all of america ? are you serious "we dont diss on your music" Hmmm my problem is not with america or the music of any kind but that you are talking for an entire country Wow! And 25 people liked your comment (this is my comment btw not Australias comment) ahahaha

  • @JeIIoh IN AMURICAH WE DONT TOLERATE TERRORIZERS

  • @JeIIoh I'm american, and although i do know some other people who think the same way you do, the majority of people in America are focused solely on whatever is "popular" on the musically biased radio stations.

  • the hottest aussie mc gettin around. I don't care much for the hoods, M and P, B and E, etc, etc, but this guys very talented.

  • @mokujin25 hoods have gone a little to commercial for my liking, but im still a huge fan of basically all aussie hip hop, including all the guys people hate on, i dont see why tey should get hate for just being a little more successful than other aus hip hop artists?

  • @mokujin25 yeah man people need to look abroad when they think of Aus hip hop and not just take the industry heavy weight's as the "best"? But Suffa and Pressure are dope emc's in there own right, same with muph, plutoniclab actually produces quite a lot of Dialectrix's songs and is a very talented drummer, b and e well what can i say interesting but i like them? all i can say is i wish we were not so narrow when people look at the Aus hip hop scene

  • Thumbs up if you know australia is the best country in the world!

  • phresh song

  • maaad song aye

  • bloody love this track..

See you guys Friday night at Tempo Hotel, Valley, BNE.

    TeZ

  • FATTER THAN YOUR MAMMA!!!

  • dope cut..

  • @xehpa25 this isn't hip pop and the shit they play on North American radio is hip pop. The real hip hop is still there. Firmly. Just mostly in the streets and many REAL artists don't care about getting big because their just ARTISTS. However, Also, don't get it confused thinking that many people who listen to hip pop listen to lyrics...because most of those people are just listening to the bass hit....

  • im america and personally i like aussie hip hop better than what we have in america

  • @callumv97, how about you BUY the album and SUPPORT AUS HIP HOP you cheap fucking jew cunt.

  • @fuckDSG im aussie buy the way and i havent seen this at any music shops

  • @callumv97 any JB hifi has it

  • @MacD78 ok thanks

  • were can i download this from

  • buy it!

  • This clip reminds me of Bioshock.

  • Now this is TRUE aussie hiphop..

  • @ADACHOOD ..just a question, if Australians all learnt Kung Fu, would they then label it Aussie Kung Fu and then say that all Chinese Kunfg Fu was shit?

  • @poetician .. Yes we would coz If we learn't Kung Fu we would put our own spin on it and OWN the Chinese Kung Fu fighters.. so pretty much the same as Aussie Hip Hop.. We put our own spin on it and completly wreck American Hip Hop!

  • @lozzacm oh young aussie, you have much to learn b4 you bash hip hop in the U.S.... see, the stuff you hear over in the states, is not hip hop, its hip-pop... completely different. Check out Zion I, Blue Scholars, Kno, Cunninlynguists, Cyne... I can go on and on with TRUE U.S. hip hop. Enjoy, and you can thank me later.

  • love it..just another song that shows aussie hip hop is goin from strength to strength "aussie pride"!!!!!!!

  • this is one of dopest tracks ever.

  • yes, dope emcee, australia on the rise, just needa pray money dont get in the way

  • Damn OZ hiphop kills it indeed.

I'm getting sick of everyone on every single song bitching about other songs.

There's enough good (rather legendary) songs out there from America, and OZ.

You just can't compare some pop-hop to real hiphop. Imo when comparing this to things like ATCQ, souls of mischief or wu tang I'd say there's no competition either way.

Stop hating on shit you barely know and dont let a few rotten apples distract you from the pearls laying around.

    Respect from Holland, peace.

  • @losmuertos1992 Fuck you Burnblade, holland sucks! :D

  • @losmuertos1992 You can't say there's no competition between aussie hiphop and wutang fam etc because they are two completely different styles. The groups you listed are rap artists.

There is no comparison to KRSONE, he is the epitome of real hiphop. Having said that, aussie hiphop tries to distance itself from the typical american stuff you here and I think thats what you need to appreciate.

Dont think I dont agree with you because I do, but understand they are different styles all together.

  • @Chookah That's exactly what I meant to say m8, there's no comparison** at all between the two. :)

Also a big fan of KRS, check the new song he made with DJ Premier, Kanye West and Nas called Classic, epic song. ^^

  • @losmuertos1992

Big up. Alles goed trouwens? Hehe, recognize the Dutch ;)

  • @losmuertos1992 You clearly haven't herd any of 360's music. and one other thing. GET THE FUCK OFF AN AUSSIE SONG YOU FUCKING FAT AMERICAN CUNT.

  • @jkdcv111 You clearly did not understand a word I said. I love all kinds of good hiphop, don't be hatin', and everyone who doesn't agree with me, frankly, is just wasting their time. I mean while writing those comments you coulda been vibing to some Dialectrix, some Nas, some Biggie, some Hilltop Hoods, etc, etc, etc.

    PEACE.

  • HOLY SHIT :| dopest shit going........ lol it kills eminem :| kind of does....

  • @lancesta01 no, i don't agree, but I think eminem would be impressed ;D put these guys together in a freestyle and I think he'd give em a run for his money =D

  • good album

  • Soon the system will be a outcast

  • who is tha escapee???...check my page underground aus hiphop comment,r8,lyk?h8?....cheerz

    aussie hip hop 4ever!!

  • Great song !

  • dope az! oz hip hop for life!

  • tired as hell of most american hip hop, i mean a lot of definate jux has got it right (aesop rock), immortal technique has it right (maybe half the time), mf doom has it right but a majority of the scene is bullshit

  • Why can't we have this grade of hip hop in the UK mainstream????......COMIN SOON....BLUNT! & Big Rob presents......PLAYER CAKE

  • mad song

but swedish ur an idiot to say australia is birthplace of hiphop, wouldnt be aussie hip hop with out em but auzzzie have there own mad sound to it

  • dope record label ladss, nice range of hip hop on here

  • someone reply to this with some decent australian hip hop i want to hear some this is okay better than most of the shit I've found so far

    thundamentals - move it up

  • @gremlinfeatures

    yah think

    Melways

  • @gremlinfeatures

Hilltop Hoods - stopping all stations & still standing

    Dialectrix - Cycles Of Survival

    Hilltop Hoods <3

  • @gremlinfeatures some good artists are: phrase, hilltop hoods, bliss n eso, drapht

  • @cornflaker phrase isn't so great

  • @dalescanlan thats just up to personal preference i actually like phrase

  • @cornflaker phrase sounds yank, i dont like pretentious accents

  • @ROBtimesTEN atleast phrase doesnt sound as yank as some so called aussie hip hop'ers

  • @TheKubeone how many others that r popular do u hear with yank accents?, people just chuck em to the kirb if they pretendin, unless the people r sony bmg, but they suck dick so it dosent count, i dont mind phrase, especially his track on M-Phazes album, but i dont like his accent

  • getting his album as soon as the shops open this is the shit ive been real cautious buying music from all the new hip hop artists in australia some i really dont like and dissapoint me but this is the shiit man

  • not true dude. i agree most of the mainstream is absolute ass, but there is some great underground stuff. and America is still the birthplace of hip hop, and there is good stuff still comin out of there, its just been masked by all the crap. until the mainstream phase finally passes, though, at least there is still Aussie hip hop to keep it real.

  • i saw you guys at the mac is back on saturday 19th....dope as! ;)

  • This guy is dope!!!!!!!!!

  • yeh man fully dig ur beatz...dont understand how 2 set one of these wicked pages up tho? peace

  • This wouldn't be here without "shitty" American hip hop.We are the birth country of hip hop.And there are some good artist granted you may have to look foe them. But if you're too lazy to check out artists like Apathy, and redshield and still more. Then do us a favor and STFU.Now you made ruin a perfectly good video/song by commenting about noting really havin to do with it.

  • i was stating that mainstream record companys who like to grab cash have ruined american hip hop, i personally enjoy your underground scene though for an aussie i dont have alot of exposure to underground artists, though your mainstream moneygrabbers are all over tv and the radio, apathy is good, i also like nething from pshycological records, and more mainstream guys like mos def and kweli keep the vibe going.we just dont see alot of it, sorry but hip hop in america is not the same as it was.

  • tsu@ 5015 whats with all the hating it's all music no matter where ya come from no matter what style ya listen 2 or spit so just shut up and enjoy a dope track!!!

  • if ya are all digging this check out astronomy class for some more awesome aussie hip hop, or obese records and shogun dustrobution

  • i think he's actually speaking in sign language aswell, dialectrix is good though

  • i normaly only hearing the good oldscool rock but this sound ... hm how should i say.... rocks^^

  • Anyone want 2 hear a good lyricist check out illy . Skryptcha is good aswell

  • illy - generation y one of the best tracks ever

  • Im not normally a fan of hip hop, but this is one track that really seems to groove.

Good on the Aussie hip-hoppers for not falling into the same boring 'better-than-thou' gangsta rap bullship that the Americans can only seem to produce these days.

  • @nemesis3001 atmosphere...nuff said

  • North American hip hop could learn a lot from Oz. I have listened to at least 20 differnt mc from Oz over the past few days and not once have i heard anything about killing, being a gangster and all the other bullshit that the average hip pop fan likes in a song.

  • Just go a little further North....Canada is producing some fantastic artists :D

  • I first head Dl incoginto 4 years ago caught him by accident trying to find something on limewire ... Check out Dl Incognito - Salad -

  • this is hip hop for hip hop the way it should be, sumthing that unfortunatly hasnt exsisted out side of the underground scene in america for at least 20 years. bring the vibe of old school new york for the streets of australia.

  • Do oyu hate Lil' Wayne cos' I do.

  • @xehpa25 After listening to a lot of Aussie Hip Hop, I conclude this: Better than American mainstream, but not even close to American underground

  • @MultiKdizzle Generally true, but I think this track is pretty close. This youth has serious talent.

  • @Hulmaldo Your right, this particular track is one of the best I've heard from Down Under. Maybe the best. And just as good as the American underground. But the rest of the stuff is still a little of the mark. Cheers

  • @xehpa25 dude shut the fuck up. you obviously know nothing about hip-hop as a whole. not even the aussie mcs would say that. youre completely generalising hip-hop.

  • @xehpa25 I completely Agree but it just means your listening to the wrong American Hip Hop. I used to be the same way but then I started listening to Delton 3030, Mos Def, Immortal Techniques, Jedi Mind Tricks etc. If you want to know their best songs, get back to me and ill get you onto some fucking awesome American Hip Hop which is actually good unlike the shitty "gangster" rap that is all 'bitches, guns and drugs'.

  • @xehpa25 Thats because us aussies we dont"Pop caps in niggers" or "hustle crack on corners" haha, but aus got f,f,fresh rhymers.

  • yeah, we just ride kangaroos round town throwing beer bottles at each other WHAT!!!!

  • @poetician and eating a meat pie or three!

  • @xehpa25 it's not north american hip-hop that needs a lesson, it's the south, that's all the T.I. & Young Jeezy shit.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 learn geography

  • @willgimon i meant the south of the USA, not South America ! lol

  • @xehpa25 thats cos aussies keep it real we aint like americans we keep it true n tell our storys

  • @hated1000 @lozzacm oh young aussie, you have much to learn b4 you bash hip hop in the U.S.... see, the stuff you hear over down under that comes from the U.S. , is not hip hop, its hip-pop... You are being fed with the junk music that I myself hate. Check out Zion I, Blue Scholars, Common Market, Kno, Cunninlynguists, Cyne, Braille... I can go on and on with TRUE U.S. hip hop. Enjoy, and you can thank me later.

  • @xehpa25 bro coz austrlia aint got that shit we all kick it crack a beer, barbeque, mates, beaches, babes,
