  • I love you! So true!

  • "our audiences are literally DIEING" lol! xx

  • I came back to watch this video again as I agree with you. Taylor Swift was going to ruin this for me single handedly. AND.....I found that Taylor Swift is NOT going to be singing Eponine!!!!!! I missed the recasting of Samantha Barks. Oh Yay!!!!!!

  • @themariamaria95 - aren't you just a sweetheart!

  • this is my rant: WHERE THE HELL IS RAMIN KARIMLOO?!?!?!?!?!

  • Thank You

  • 0:28 lmao

  • I agree with you except I did like Emmy as Christine as it made more sense that was not exceedingly good as the Phantom being her tutor is not necessarily being vocally trained but hey I may be alone on that one but that's why I could tolerate Sarah back in the day. Gerald shocked the hell out of me with how good he was...and he had no training. Also not sure were you saying Hugh deserved his role or not but I pretty sure he was theatre first and dude does have a tony,

  • @fight4acause I think Gerard Butler was excellent at showing the Phantom's dark side and but I think that he wasn't very good at doing the softer sides where the Phantom's being hyponotising. Ramin Karimloo is my favourite Phantom. He's currently playing Valjean in the West End. He's amazing! However, I will always respect Gerard because I truly believe he's amazing and so versatile taking on roles in comedies, musicals, romantic, action and thriller movies. He's pure epic!

  • Taylor is gone, Samantha is in!!! (:

  • really hope that it was videos like this that caused Samantha Barks to be offered the role. Justice is served!

  • YES. TAYLOR HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN UNCAST(?), AND INSTEAD HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH SAMANTHA BANKS!!!!!

  • WE WIN!!!! They Just announced that it will be Samantha Barks playing Eponine, not Taylor Swift!

  • Amen on all points.

    I would see Carousel, btw.

  • Oh my goodness. I SO agree with you. I mean, Spiderman the musical? Shrek the musical? The Addams Family musical? What's next, Spongebob Squarepants?!?! Why can't people just appreciate a new, creative musical instead of the slightly lamer ones they're coming up with? And I'm totally with ya on the subject of Tay-Swizzle. I mean... Just no. They may as well have a member of Big Time Rush as Javier or something for all I care at this point.

  • Hahaha fantastic rant. I agree with pretty much everything you said, although I think Hugh Jackman deserves a little more credit then you throw him. I feel like that this movie could have been PHENOMENAL had they cast the 25th concert cast (aside from Nick Jonas) starring Alfie Boe as Valjean, but instead they decided to go with this wonderful selection.

How do you feel about Sacha Baron Cohen as Thenardier?

  • And I love Carousel! I saw the movie adaption with Shirley Jones, and I love it!

  • If you think about it, a lot of our musicals these days has been ripped from other things. Five examples: Les Mis, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Spring Awakening and Mamma Mia!

  • Funny thing is... Amanda Seyfried was trained as an opera vocalist...

  • I agree with you 100%, and yes Emmy Rossum in Phantom was an epic fail. Thanks for saying what everyone who truly enjoys classic musical theater was thinking! Would it really be so hard to incorporate celebs and trained Broadway vocalists, really? Alright side rant over. lol It's so nice to see someone else who thinks musical theater is a dying art! :D

  • you better be kidding about taylor swift's acting skills....

  • Taylor Swift as Eponine utterly disgusts me, just saying :P I completely agree with you on all of that.

  • i feel like lea michele is one of hose people who would send taylor swift some good old fashioned "fuck you" flowers. also, can ou talk about aaron tveit being cast a enjoras, aaron tveit=god.

  • Oh, Seyfried was trained though.

    Or so she says.

    dun dun duuunnn

  • I love you....

  • The thing is, a lot of musicals aren't actually original these days. Everything is based off books and movies and plays. Even Les Mis...

  • Thank you for making this video! I agree with everything you've said. Taylor Swift will RUIN this film!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Amanda Seyfried's been trained in Broadway as well as opera. She's got the lungs; whether she's able to hit all those high notes remains to be seen. She did hold her own in Mamma Mia, which of course is a totally different singing style...but at least she's got the experience. And I think her personality is a good fit for Cosette, so she's got that going for her. Unlike Taylor Swiuighihfght...sorry, I puked. Just putting her and Les Mis together in the same thought makes me nauseous.

  • YOU'RE AWESOME AND I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!

  • As for your other comment about "music theater is a dying art," I actually AGREE with you on that, and couldn't agree with you MORE. It annoys the HELL out of me what's happening to music theater. I liked Legally Blonde The Musical, but it wasn't ANYTHING compared to Carousel or Les Miserables. Also, I have friends who are music theater majors and are INCREDIBLY talented, but had to get jobs that weren't in their fields. WHY? Because they had tough competition, even with in-town stuff. :/

  • I'm pissed about the Taylor Swift thing too, I mean Lea Michele or Amy Adams would have been MUCH better choices. Russell Crowe and Eddie Redmayne I'm a little concerned about since I've never heard them sing opera, but they can act well. I'm a little concerned about Amanda Seyfried since "opera training" can mean anything.

I'm happy about Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway getting casted because they can sing. As for the Thernadiers, they're comic relief, so I think they were good picks.

  • Lol Darren is probably better than Dan! But yeah bad casting for this movie... Lea Michele probably would've been ok!

  • Agree completely. We have the same opinions on the awesomeness of Les Mis, thank god.

  • I thought there was a majority of angry Broadway fans who love Les Mis and Taylor Swift's head on a silver platter. I have seen two videos of people wishing her the best, the rest are people wishing for her to trip over a rake whilst living as a farm hick and breaking her neck.

  • Absolutely agree, just got a couple of things. Amanda Seyfried is trained in opera. Even though none of us would know it from her lukewarm singing in Mamma Mia!. And I found out that the cast is doing their singing live, so no auto tume or dubbing by Lea Salonga :,(

  • You voiced my thoughts exactly. It's kind of creepy. Every single word you had said I was saying to my sister just hours before on a long rant I went on about the casting of Les Mis. Taylor Swift? REALLY?

  • TAYLOR CANT ACT FOR SHIT.

  • *bows down*

    my rant exactly.

  • I couldn't agree more, The casting of the Les Mis film is pretty bad. It's as bad as the 2004 Phantom film.

  • agree with most of your rant... except for Amanda Seyfried, whose not too bad... not phenomenal, but not bad. But ur wrong about Emmy Rossum. She was PHENOMENAL as Christine. She acted out the role terrifically, and her voice was perfect for the role. She didn't have that older sounding operatic voice like Sarah Brightman. It proved a great fit because the role is of a young ingenue, late teens-early 20s, not forties. Her voice was strong and had a dreamlike quality. but Swift DEFINITELY NOT!!!!

  • Amanda also did have vocal trainging. She was in the movie Mama Mia and that was her singing. She is a trained soprano. Not trying to be mean but I agree with everything else

  • I love Carousel.... :)

Anyways, I completely agree with you. People today do not appreciate musicals as much as back in the day.

  • thank you for putting my exact thoughts into words...but actually.

ALSO. your Anne Hathaway impression. let's talk about it. i sure hope that's on your resume, because it is INSANE.

  • I too, was really disappointed at the casting of Eponine. Taylor Swift sings pop, not broadway. I wish they would have picked an actress from the previous Les Miserables casting, I would have liked to see Nancy Sullivan perform as Eponine.

  • I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID!

  • Truer words have never been spoken.

Also, they didn't need Taylor Swift to pull in tickets. Hello, Hugh Jackman? Helena B. Carter? Basically demi-gods of musical movies in my book. I'm just holding out that this is all a joke, because I'm yet to see any solid, non-hearsay evidence of Swift being cast.

Hopefully she isn't chosen or declines the offer. Because, as much as I love most of the rest of the cast, if Swift is chosen to be my favorite character, I won't be going to see the movie.

  • Not only do I agree with everything said in this rant, I subscribed, liked it, and added it to my favorites. Just so you can cry a little next time you put on your hipster glasses. Oh, and 'cause I dug the background music. I simply can't wait to angrily shake my fist at every person who will now think that Taylor Swift is an orgasmic singer because of the kick-ass audio-engineers backing her. Happens all the time. Bleh.

  • While I do adore Taylor and think you should give her a chance, I think you are funny and I subbed<3

  • Couldn't agree more. Taylor has neither the acting or singing abilities to do this role any justice. Why couldn't they do a "RENT" and get Broadway trained actors/actresses. They already had Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Helena Bonhem Carter to pull in the audiences. This film would have done fine box office wise (as that's all they seem to care about) without her. Rant over.

  • @xxxmissblondzyxxx

    Bingo!

  • amanda does have classical vocal training. just sayin'.

  • Actually, Amanda Seyfried was in Mamma Mia! and was the only member of the movie who could sing. Also, she's a soprano. But Taylor Swift? Yeah...no.

  • PREACH!

  • Truer words have never been spoken so eloquently. Ever.

  • @xtheactressx Thank you.

  • just so you know.....according to imdb.com Amanda Seyfried was "trained in classical opera for two years and studied under a Broadway voice coach for almost five years". this puts me a little at ease. hope it does the same for you :)

  • so happy you pointed out that lea michele "squeaks". I've been saying that for forever, and no one understood what I meant! don't get me wrong. I think she's very talented. but yeah. she squeaks.

    also, concerning taylor swift......AGREED.

  • @journey2boston THANK YOU.

  • @veronicaswannabe you are also stupid for pointing that out when its not even true..

  • @journey2boston she doesnt squeak moron! -_________- .

  • Amanda Seyfriend actually does have vocal training. Look up some of her songs from Mamma Mia the movie. She's a soprano and perfect for Cosette. I agree on the Taylor Swift thing though.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO

"it's organic, it doesn't deserve to have it's skin ripped off"

  • @MrAaronWomball haha thank you!

  • I totally agree with the majority of your rant. Amanda Seyfried actually is a really good singer though, example Mamma Mia. I also heard she had opera training so...BUT all the stuff on Taylor true, true, true.

  • Thank you soooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!! U verbalized all of my inner thoughts!

  • sorry wait a thought think tom doesn't like taylor that why they have to sing live gutted lolz if it true

  • who feels bad for slagging off frances lea (michelle) sorry but taylor not innorcce britney jonas style sweetheart but not epoine just cause scarlett married and evan dated marylin manson does make them sluts GOOD ACTRESSES ACT lucy hale should've gotten it lets see who taylor dated joe jonas, john mayer, jake gyllenhall

    THE REAL REASON, TAYLORS SKINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I TOTALLY AGREE. and i heard somewhere that amanda seyfried had opera training, i thought she was good in mama mia, even if the movie stunk.

  • haha, i'm a huuuge lea michele fan and didn't understand the squeak criticism until i heard your demonstration! thanks for that, but i still love her to death.

i personally think this taylor swift news isn't really true and they just released to make the rest of the cast sound good by comparison. amanda seyfried in particular should send the girl her favourite flowers. i love conspiracy theories.

  • @14istheluckynumber I love Lea too! I just can't ignore the squeaking, haha :) Thanks for your comment :)

  • I AGREE

  • Taylor Swift acts all sweet and innocent but not many people can see she is just a fame whore wanting to have as many celebrity friends as possible. And she cant act. I mean, the only thing she did in 'valentines day' was sucking Taylor Lautners face off

  • thank you so much. I needed this.

  • amanda is an opera trained singer. and unfortunately they are singing live, so taylor screwed....=/

  • I will be saving my $8.00. It is unfortunate. I was so excited to see Victor Hugo's novel being made into a movie. I traveled to London to see Alfie Boe at the Queen's Theater. His voice is breath taking. He was in the running, for JVJ but Hollywood crumbled and brought Hugh Jackman onboard because of his star power, and he can sing. Now Taylor Swift? A sweet young girl with a sweet voice, but if I had the space I could name at least 20 more qualified.

  • @barkmuffin I found out that he won a Tony for the musical The Boy from Oz which seems good.

  • @barkmuffin There IS a non-musical film of Les Miserables, though it concentrates mostly upon the Valjean-Javert, Fantine-Cosette part of the story, making the students and the Thenardiers very minor characters - starring Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman and Claire Danes.(But don't take my word for it - it's only from what I've heard from others; I've yet to see it myself)

For the musical...10th Anniversary Concert. In my opinion, that's your best bet.

  • I wholeheartedly believe that we share a brain...like seriously...this explains my exact feelings towards everything.

  • Thank you for this! I hate Taylor swift, and it's ridiculous that they poked people who have no musical theater experience. I feel like they're going to make the movie version suck

  • Comment removed

  • Bad news... the vocals aren't going to be dubbed :/

  • @LingLingRox

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no. If Taylor takes the roll, than her voice better be dubbed.

  • eponine is "a miserable character" with "miserably high Broadway notes" . taylor swift is good, but she wont be able to get that "miserable" character of eponine. lol

  • @angeltheya12 Preach.

  • @veronicaswannabe about what you were saying about it being dubbed about a few mouths ago Sacha Baron Cohen has conformed that the singing will be filmed live and will not be dubbed as for Taylor being casts i have my questions about it to considering she is not a soprano (as far as we know) but i say wait for the movie give her a chance she may not be as bad as we think she could shock us. again i do have my doubts but lets see what happens.

  • I do believe that Taylor Swift should not be eponine! BUT I want to know what you think of Aaron Tevit being in it?

  • @Penguin11290 Who's Aaron going to be playing?

  • @Penguin11290 He is playing Enjlourus (I know it's not spelled right! )

  • @Penguin11290 i was so happy when i heard that, he is amazing. love love love him in next to normal. a great example of an original concept musical, like hair, rent or sweeny todd.

  • @Penguin11290 Totally all for Aaron Tveit. All for it.

  • I agree with all of this, except for your lack of appreciation for Darren Criss, who has a great musical theatre background. He co-wrote 3 (and kind-of another, but it was while he was recording for Glee) musicals that are all up on YouTube and have millions of views. And he played the lead in two of them. He's pretty good with theatre, I'd say. Regardless, back to Taylor. Ehh. I'm doubtful, but... autotune can work its magic on this one.

  • LOVE this!! So many of my friends and I are so upset about this casting decision! Just shared this video on facebook! You're right on! :)

  • u say that fine arts is dying and i KINDA have to agree with that but come on now, they r coming up with some inventive things. u may have heard of a little musical called SPRING AWAKENING. inventive, creative, amazing, and fairly recent. stick that up ur pipe and smoke it.

  • @hmc1115 I have and it's amazing. I watched it on YouTube because I haven't got to see it on the West End. It's a good modern musical. I heard about The Book of Morman and it sounds really good.

  • @hmc1115 Haha, this may be hard to believe but I have actually heard of Spring Awakening. But let's look at the big picture here. Whereas decades ago it used to be far more common for people to invest in seeing live performances, it's now hardly possible for the average person to afford going to the opera or to get decent seats at a musical.

  • @hmc1115

In all fareness, Spring Awakening was based off of a 18th (I think, might be earlier) century German play.

  • @SaintHaHaLOLZ 19th, actually. the 18th century means the 1700s. Frank Wedekind wrote Spring Awakening in 1890, which would make it the 19th century. And technically, it wasn't performed until the 20th century, in 1906. We are currently in the 21st century.

  • @hmc1115 Spring Awakening is like a 100 years old man. It was banned when it originally came out so they brought it back. SMOKE THAT BUD.

  • @hmc1115 You do know that Spring Awakening was actually a play from the 19th century....

  • Comment removed

  • How do you bring a song down by five tones? Tone is a term used to describe vocal quality. Unless you're talking about linguistics, lol. Did you mean key?

  • I loved Darren Criss before he was on Glee back when it was very potter musical

  • less Mis really isnt it .She could stand on the baricades with red flag lol like a Commie oops.

  • Honestly, if they are going to choose a celebrity that actually can sing they should choose Marina Diamandis. She might not be an actor but her voice is beautiful enough for Eponine

  • Taylor Swift isn't auto-tuned and Amanda is classically trained singer.

  • Are you jealous you didn't get the part?! LOL

  • I agree completely! Subbing :)

  • Alaina, I agree wholeheartedly.

  • oh my god. this is the most amazing/hysterical/epic thing i've ever seen. holy shit xDDDDD

    SUBSCRIBED :]

  • I agree with most of this! but Nick Jonas was actually part of the anniversary cast of Les Miserable recently, and he was surprisingly good.

  • Couldnt agree more with you! and to be honest I love Taylor Swift and I love her songs but I have to be true to the fact that not everyone is Broadway material no matter how famous you are...so yes even if I like Taylor I dont think she is good for this role...but oh well

  • A-men. I thought Nick was ridiculous for the 25th. Curses.

  • @13Wheneveryousmile

I think it's a stretch to say "all artists use a little bit of autotune". What about people in musical theatre or bands and groups before autotune was existed? Like Chris Cornell, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Jeff Buckley and Robert Plant? It really isn't neccessary to pass of an artistic statement such as music

  • @thesphericalproject Well, what I mean is like the artists of today that we hear all over the radio.

  • *applaudes* But hey, as long as she sings "On My Own" better than Katie Holmes, I'm content. Gosh, I still have nightmares from that version. And Amanda Seyfried has had training, but I'm worried about those high notes too. Well, at least Aaron Tveit's Enjolras!

  • you didnt mention the guys cast in the show!!!! I have no problems with that.

  • i actually agree with you!

  • THANK YOU. I agree with everything you said..

  • even if taylor swift can sing, there's a very very big difference between singing pop songs and singing on broadway. maybe she could do a modern eponine in some other sort of version of les mis (not a suggestion :| haha) but i don't think she's going to be able to compare with the likes of lea salonga & co.

  • thank GOD you posted this.

  • i couldn't agree more! however i do disagree about theatre being a dying art. maybe broadway and all that. but theatre itself will not die. i do think its pathetic that they think they have to fill seats by casting a know nothing ass clown like taylor swift who can't act and can't even sing

  • I completely agree! Though for the past 2 years I have been a part of one of those types of b'way musicals on tour (How the Grinch Stole Christmas), I think that this recycling of movies etc. into musicals just to get butts in the seat is what is ruining B'way and theater in general at the moment. Also, we shared a hotel with the cast of Bring It On while in San Fran and did a ticket swap with them, so I got to see the show for free... I still wanted my money back.

  • LOL! You just made my day!!! I got so piss about the casting as well. In my eyes Frances Ruffelle's raspy voice will forever be Eponine.

  • @LennalsMyAngel

Type in "Taylor Swift Live" in the YouTube search bar and vola! Hundreds of autotuned delights! Brought to you by the same pitch correction that saved (and shamed) Glee.

  • @thesphericalproject No, there is not. She is probably one of the few who always sings live at her concerts. TV-appearances that get dubbed later do not count(this is done for everybody). I repeat. She always sings live. And you have no fucking way to prove me wrong. Because there is no such proof. Hell...isn´t the bitching about her live vocals enough of a proof?

  • @LennaIsMyAngel "intonation issues" means "singing out of tune live." She's autotuned when recorded. Sorry you misunderstood :)

  • @veronicaswannabe I've seen her live twice. She does not sing out of tune live. If you're judging by the recordings/videos people post from her concerts onto hear, think about all the people singing along and the non-professional quality of the cameras/cell phones, not good. Taylor CAN sing live. Every artist uses a little bit of auto-tune, well except for some who abuse auto-tune, which Taylor is not one of those artists. I'd like to see you prove me wrong. (:

  • @13Wheneveryousmile I meant here*. Ooops.

  • @13Wheneveryousmile umm.. look up EVERY song she's ever sang live. there's maybe one or two that are decent. if you need more proof, look up the commercial she did for the 2009 VMAs. and that's with auto-tune.

    ..boom (;

  • @kelseykuekue I've SEEN her live TWICE. All the videos you're seeing are not professional recordings and there are tons of people singing along in the crowd too. You actually have to be there to see the full quality of her singing live. She is NOT out of tune at all. I've seen that commercial plenty of times. I think it's actually GOOD. Yeah, I said it. I think her singing in the 2009 VMA commercial is GOOD. (;

  • @13Wheneveryousmile awh, that's so sweet. tone deaf people of the world unite!! :)

  • @kelseykuekue Sorry, but I was just speaking the truth and proving a point. It's okay you don't like Taylor, no one's forcing you to, but there's no reason to hate on her over the internet. By the way, I am not tone deaf.

  • @13Wheneveryousmile What point, exactly? You're not speaking the truth, you're stating an opinion. Your opinion is you think Taylor is wonderful singer, my opinion is she's not. I don't "hate her" nor dislike her as an artist, I just don't think she's right for Eponine - or good at singing anything besides her pre-recorded, bubblegum pop-country. No one's hating on her - no one's said they want to hurt her for getting the part. We theater people just don't agree with her casting. Kay? Thanks :)

  • @13Wheneveryousmile Hon, I've seen Taylor live. She's just...let's just say she won't be able to do the belt or hit the notes in 'On My Own'. Or in 'One Day More!'. Or 'In My Life'. Or...well, you get the point. She's not suited for it.

  • @simsfreakable Well, we gotta at least give her a chance. Ya know?

  • @LennaIsMyAngel have you HEARD her sing live. she is awful im sorry. she is a sweet girl but she cannot sing, let alone handle the role of eponine.

  • I agree. I cried rivers when I found out. I have to admit though, I did enjoy Scarlet Jo's Tom Waits covers, and Darren Criss did major in Theatre performance and writes/composers/performs with a theatre production group called StarKid him and his college friends made...I see where you're coming from though. His fanbase from A Very Potter Musical kept him on Glee..and I'm sure him being on Glee helped him land a role on 'How to Succeed..'

but nonetheless---I truly enjoyed your rant.

  • THANK. YOU. SO. MUCH. FOR. POSTING. THIS. I have been entirely too angry to do anything but tersely mumble rantings under my breath.

  • @abrez91 You're welcome.

  • Preach on!

  • @briestew87 holla!

  • GOD AMEN! I so agree with you!!! You put the words together perfectly. (BtDubs...you have moments of Jenna Marbles sounding phrases...) haha

  • @12ParisDaisies thank you so much, I LOVE Jenna Marbles haha

  • Comment removed

  • I support Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter.

  • @CountDionysus13 me too.

  • I wouldn't expect many "haters." Your perspective is pretty much spot on. Hard to argue with reality.

  • @notamorningguy THANK YOU.

  • HAHAHA... when I first saw the casting decisions, I sat there just looking at the computer screen expecting it to change. Then I went on a rant about it at work... A sports bar. They agree that TSwift is a bad choice, but no one knew what I was talking about. I like that producers are trying to make musicals and the arts more accessible to the general public, but they're doing it wrong (BFA Arts Admin major talking). It is splitting the gap even more because artsy people are upset. Stupid...

  • @theatrekid2011 glad to hear your perspective -- I totally agree that we need to get the public engaged like it once was, but yes, casting directors ARE doing it wrong. We need to cast people who know what they're doing, not people who are familiar with something completely different.

  • and you forgot Nick Jonas Played Marius too in Les Mis In the west end Production and then the 25th Anniversary concert at the O2 Arena

  • @MrFavrefan1 I know he did - I was just talking about his Broadway experience.

  • finally someone who shares my opinion :D literally the only 2 people im happy about for this musical are anne hathaway and hugh jackman because of their musical background, its no secret that anne can sing and hugh jackman was incredible in oklahoma (cant spell :S) and hosting the oscars in 2009 he was amazing too :) but everyone else i feel should die a slow painful death for thinking that this movie will be good with them in it, i even heard gerard butlers gonna be in it...can he even sing? :S

  • @BramblesD holla, I totally agree.

  • I totally agree with you, though I did enjoy POTO and Emmy Rossum as Christine. I generally dislike Taylor Swift, and I really don't see Taylor Swift doing a good job as Eponine. I feel like this is a repeat of what happened when Madonna was cast as Evita. She's going to work hard on improving her voice, and will get halfway there. All of her fans will be like, "HAH! WE WERE RIGHT! SHE ROCKS!!!", and everyone else will be like "psh...[insert favorite actress for Eponine here] did it better."

  • @cathy71893 spot on. I know most of the people who disagree with me probably don't understand what us theatre buffs are expecting, so yes to the Evita comment as well.

  • Plus, its being live recorded on set rather than overdub + lip sinc, so if Swift can't sing for shit then it will show (: and i can throw apples!:D

  • @thesphericalproject holla. Thanks for the info. We'll see how this project turns out...

  • @veronicaswannabe yeah, i really do hope that it turns out okay :( hey look on the bright side! At least we didn't get Justin Bieber for Marius... :S

  • @thesphericalproject he could maybe pull of Gavroche. In a few years, maybe.

  • Hey, i totally get why you're pissed. I recently played Javert in Les Mis. The thing is though...what did we seriously expect? I went in with low expectations because i knew they'd chuck in some shitty hollywood scarlet as the role. At the end of the day (no pun intended), the people who are producing this movie, produced the original, so it goes without saying that their choice is valid, cos you know, they did write the damn thing. I wasn't surprised at the casting in the slightest.

  • amen

  • @nrganet yeah sista
