Funny it would have been nice to see Hooch have an aneurysm over losing yet again. I am glad that Becky is free of him perhaps now she will steer clear of any of her old pals including Hooch.

well.. a little anti-climatic at the police station -- but it looks like Hooch isn't quite done with Becky/STeve/Slug. Best/most fun to watch this episode was the snarky exchange at Roy's greasy spoon between Becky and Kelly. Didn't know Becky was responsible for Kelly going to jail...so Kelly's an ex-jailbird as well...maybe we should have a neighborhood police presinct move into Coronation street as well...staff it with a couple of Barney Miller-type detectives (loved that show!)

They did have a copper on the Street a few years back, she was married to Curly I believe.

Norman (Curly) Watts used to be Vera and Jack's tenant as well as Emily's. Went to work for Reggie Holdsworth after a series of odd jobs married model wanna-be Raquel they separated and divorced but had one daughter Alice. Later on he married Emma Taylor a local plod. They had a son then left. Kevin Kennedy himself is a musician and can be seen on youtube

I think when it comes to Peter that Blanche does actualy have a softer side.

I saw/read somewhere that Blanche has a romance coming. Wonder if we'll see another softer side to her then?

The British constabulary can not afford to have one of their own FRAME an innocent british subject like Becky for all to see on Coronation Street. that's why Hooch dropped the charges-or maybe have them "stayed".

Yes MG, it's clear "Hoochie Goochie" wants to advance in his career and cannot risk another black mark on his job file...so he's got a lot to lose...I suppose if/when he's in a position when he feels a bit safer in his position -- he'll be coming after Becky/Steve/Slug...isn't that the way revenge works???
