First of all Palestine was a name given to a territory by the British occupation, first he was given by another emperie tha Romans called it palestina by an ancient people lived in the Gaza streep which has nothing to do with the current Palestinians. So there was no Palestinian nation when Jewish/zionists started to resettle the land, there were arabs who conquerd the land before 1400 years. The zionist movement started even before the holacaust long before.

About creating one state, fine Idea if The Israelies and the Palestinians didnt have such a great cultural differences and emotional and historical baggage against each other. Let the people have two states which voth will be able to run their lifes in a way that suits them. The same as trying to force democracy on Iraq, it just wont work. And Im not trying to be arogent saying that one way is better than the other. Its just different ways.
