this is my dunk so i can make it real easy for anyone who has a question. every year the ncaa gives refs the new rules lets them know what they want called strictly and what they want called loosely. that year slapping the backboard is something they wanted to crack down on because it is looked at as taunting the opponent. i knew it was against the rules but i did it anyway out of habit. even though i dont agree with the rules, i did deserve the tech. we won the game so its all good anyway
