  • Please , please i need help ! send me a personal message with the answer please !

    is this worcking witch:

    nvidia 9800GT

    Motherboard: asus p5q e

    chipset: intel core duo

  • what can you use it for i have no idea i even looked on the snow leopard server page

  • @MachinimaMan141 You can use the Retail DVD of Snow Leopard which you can get at any Apple Store. As long as you buy it for 30 bucks, then its LEGAL. The only thing that makes it illegal is violation of the EULA. You can still install Snow Leopard on a PC though, just at your own risk, since Mac hardware is a little different than PC.

  • @DemonNaoto the EULA clearly says "you cannot use this software on non-Apple hardware" and the EULA for the client (not the server) also prevents running it emulated or virtualized even under Apple hardware. That's why Parallels and VMWare Fusion support running Mac OS X Server but not Mac OS X client.

  • song ?

  • @NexusNielsen Britney nigga

  • @NexusNielsen Brintey Spears - Break the ice.

  • Wanna kno whats super funny is Microsoft released Windows 7 only a few months after Snow Leopard. With few changes since the beta. Obviously they are watching Apple to steal ideas... look at windows 7 and leopard. lol...

  • can some one give me a link to mac os x10.5 plz

  • @Winodows Just buy the Snow Leopard retail disc. Its well worth the money. But if you dont feel the need, try out some Leopard hackintosh distros. I have tried about 5 different flavors of hackintosh distros, for example: Kalyway 10.5, iDeneb, iPC. Theres plenty more that you can search for. It all depends on your processor and other hardware, basically, your comp's specs. Google is your friend! ;)

  • lol im doing the same thing right now

  • lol u used darwinx86

  • I got this to install in VMWare Fusion 3.0, but for some reason VMWare Tools won't work, even though it installs.

  • What is the second song? starting at 3:17

  • it's called technologic by daft punk

search for it here on youtube

  • Im On A Mac!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol, Mac users of the world unite!

  • this video is so blurry i can't even tell what is going on...kinda frustrating when i am trying to figure out how to do this installation....

  • It's pretty restricted. The client EULA doesn't allow installing on a VM, but the server version does IF the host machine is a Mac (an "Apple-labeled computer", to be precise). Whether that means the host must be running OS X isn't really clear, but it doesn't matter much.

  • I can tell that it runs perfect under VMware Fusion but does it run on the pc version VMware workstation ??

  • It works in VMware Fusion only. It's because the disk will only boot up if there's the right TPM chip installed (which it gets off the Mac), so you can not run Mac OS X in Workstation

  • lol, yes you can run Mac OS X Leopard on workstation..

  • You can run in VMware

Workstation with Boot-132 and a retail disk of leapord runs good for me ;)

  • @techman224 You can install Snow Leopard on VMWare WorkStation or VirtualBox. It will work best with VirtualBox. If you want more info on this, google Hackintosh! ;)

  • iso pls

  • thx LOL

  • whats the first song

  • NOOO! Crap! Now Break the Ice by Britney Spears is stuck in my head! AHHH!

Yes, Britney, it has been awhile since my ears bled from you.

  • is there anything special you need to do in the setup process to make sure it doesn't mess up?

  • nice.. whats the last song ?

  • Technologic by Daft Punk.

  • k ty..

  • Hey can u stream live or make an internet radio using this leopard server? I heard that quicktime streaming server and quicktime broadcaster which are included in the Leopard server can make this possible, but I'm not sure about this; also if this works, I'd like to know if u can embed a code into a Myspace page (profile 2.0)...Thanks

  • Do you think running Mac OS X (non-server) would work as well? I know it's pointless (Mac-in-Mac), but it would be cool to do and also would be good to try out newer versions or older versions of Mac that I don't want to install.

  • Nope, You might with some modded installs, but officially, no, only server will run on vmware fusion without mods.

  • i have tried installing 10.5 server off a image and using the dvd. it hangs, any ideas?

  • the server is cracked so is leopard he is running notice whenhe first boots the disk it says DARWIN/x86

x86 relates to the os x 86 project wich was the first group to crack apples software for it to use on pc's and thefist group to distribute kernals, boot decripts, and the hacked operating its self

  • It's not cracked, the DVD is an original Mac OS X Leopard server DVD. The virtual machine has the darwin bootloader built-in like the BIOS. Plus it uses the chip in Mac Computers that prevent installation on other computers. It is not cracked.

  • ...

X86 means it is 32 bit. Like X64 means 64 bit.

  • where did you get the os x server dmg?

  • it said it wont support the system or somthing any one know why?

  • hey every time i try to download vmw it wont let me use it for some reason any one mind telling me why i have mac osx but it has the stop sign on the stuff i need to drag out of the file

  • awsome music!

  • yay 2nd comment, anyway, my mac os x leopard doesnt work on my vmware

  • It has to be Leopard Server

  • how do you recor screen in macosx?

  • a good program is screenflow

  • with screen flow
