UFO in Minnesota 8/10/10

I have seen a UFO in Brainerd MN. I saw it with my friend at about 10:00 pm. It was a brightly glowing orb of some sort sitting still it the sky. After we turned the corner to go home, we saw it shoot downward behind some trees at at least 200 mph.

So I haven't read all of these reactions but this was real. My roommate and I saw this from my car when we were at the U of M. We stopped for a good 5 minutes to watch and we even asked people walking around if they saw these lights moving around just to make sure we weren't seeing shit. Can someone please explain how these were fake?

this is not a hoax. i saw this EXACT same thing yesterday morning at like 4-5am. except there was also a bright ball of light that appeared next to it, and then shot across the sky, then a star-looking light spinning in circles for 3 hours. the bright light was too fast to be a plane or satellite, and too slow to be a shooting star. i know it wasn't a meteor, because it was visible for a minute or two.

I agree it was not kites. they tried to duplicate kites with flares and led lights and nothing came close. To all the skeptics who will never believe. This one has no explanations,all the lights are perfectly distanced from each other.

@wildboy26 news organizations, more than anything else, have a COMPLETE bias against stories like this. thousands of people worldwide report UFOs every day, and sure, many of them are hoaxes or military craft... but this was certainly not a hoax, and it was DEFINITELY not "some guy with kites and LED lights". the thing was fucking huge, and hundreds of people saw it over the course of the night. it changed shape, exuded extremely bright lights, and was definitely not human.

@MattJoyce Hey Matt! dude I saw this same type of thing over denny's in Maplewood. It was setup...I went up to the restaurant and saw the string going up to 2 kites(giving it some weird movements). The dude just used LED lights, the middle one blinked..yeah dude unfortunately it was setup. In this case..who knows, but it looks like the same setup man.

It's not a hoax, they wouldn't spend the money and man power required to investigate this claim if it were as cut and dry as some of you seem to think.
