And The Beatles Being on iTunes is a big deal. Now Apple gets to rip off the band which protested about the digital distribution of their music through apple inc, as opposed to apple corp. well fucking done apple inc for messing around with one of the best bands ever!

(apple core records) which was founbded before Apple Inc (Apple Computers), Apple Corp managed to sue Apple Inc for $80,000 in 1981 for trademark infringement, and the condition was that Apple inc would not distribute music. In September 2003 Apple Computer sued by Apple Corps, for introducing iTunes and iPod, which Apple Corp was a violation of Apple's agreement not to distribute music.

And as to "hundreds of billions of dollars" iTunes hasn't had that much business from everyone. Besides, EMI is in bad shape and they can use the money. IMHO, they're too late to the party now.

It's probably a matter of principle and integrity. iTunes sells fairly low quality audio, because they have to compress it in order to make the download as fast as possible.

Well, Apple Corps and Apple Inc. have been talking along with EMI and the suriving Beatles and have tried to get their music to iTunes. Paul has said to a Rolling Stone Magizine that their catalog of music is going to be realized in March. Rumors are also going around of a Beatles Ipod with all their music pre downloaded to the Ipod. If it is true it will also be realized in March.
