@QUIKKSTAR Most people around here don't. It's a city and a Rhode Island thing. Even in Boston, most people don't have accents, since most of the population was born elsewhere. I do have a little accent compared to most people here, but I wouldn't know what to compare it to, haha.
Woot! So far so good! LOL girl those white dots are to preserve the acoustics..lol Google it. "popcorn ceiling". Here is the problem. That is old school acoustic control so depending on the year of the room...might be asbestos you are scraping (but probably not) lol.
@PilotCube Sure! Depending on what you're bringing, I'd suggest moving in force flex trash bags. You'll fit more in your car that way. Make a list now and check off what you pack as you're packing it, and put all your bags in one place so you don't miss anything. Don't go crazy immediately decorating your room - you don't know if you'll like your roommate and might just end up destroying the walls/decorations removing things like I did haha. Moving in isn't the hardest part - it's saying goodbye
@PilotCube to your friends and family. Takes time to get used to. I suggest not going back home constantly or communicating with your old familiars often; you've gotta go out and embrace the newest part of your to be able to enjoy it. =] I could write a book answering this question, haha. Maybe I'll make a video about it.
@peneraserlove That would be awesome if you could make a video about that. I bet it would be fun to hear your other thoughts. I wish you the best at your State College!
